The south indian food in mess is not tastes as well as in South India. The south Indians should adjust for food
There is very cool environment during winter it is good if they provide heaters in class room

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course (Agbsc) have good scope and demand and the student have bright future. There is highly qualified faculty with good teaching skills. We have term exam on every six months. Gku university also have ICAR .

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are well intern ship opportunities. So many companies have our GURUKASHI university. Students are eligible. for an Internship in the 7th semester. Gku has ICAR. The package is 3 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience :

Our Guru kashi university provide placements based on merits. From 4th semester students became eligible for campus placements. Sony good company's hais our university (gku) and students have good scope.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Gku is very famous university in Punjab with ICAR . With good quality of education. The University provided good placement opportunitys. Scholarship is based on percentage get you get on intermediate and diploma

Campus Life :

The life in campus is very good and peaceful due to peaceful environment and greenery. There is lots of books available on library based on course and subject and course. The annual fest is freshers and some cultural activities .

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are very good and clean . There is hot water facility morning and evening. Clean drinking water is available 24/7. Good quality food is available in hostel. In hostel three numbers for room .

Hostel Fee : INR 82000 per year

Admission :

There is no entrence exam . I joined through my merits based on my intermediate percentage. There is no reservation benefits For eligibility of my course (Agbsc) student should complete 12th (MPC or bipc) or deploma

Is LPU that Lovely?

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placements from their final year and should have passed all the subjects. Companies visited are ITC, Adani Wilmar, dhanuka, some startups Highest package offered for the current session was 8lpa to 4 students where the average pay is 3.6 lpa Due to low pay most of the students turn down the job offer and goes on pursuing higher studies. So far, from what I have experienced is that there is cut throat competition in the placements.

Good in campus environment

Remarks:

After i entered , it was heaven seriously speaking from a small town LPU life for me is no less than a dream life. So here are some DO's and DONTs LPU :- Alwaysintain 75% attendance otherwise you won't be allowed to give your end term examination. 2. Don't get carried away with the crowd , you won't be able to come back to real life. 3. Be as simple as possible so that distractions doesn't over come your focus . 4. Join various Organisations. Here at LPU we have more that 50 Student running organisations , take initiative and be a part in any of these. 5. Weekly , there will be functions , or something or the other so that Students inside the campus are not board , so enjoy them . 6. As i have mentioned before , be choosey to select your friends world is not good my dear . 7. Yes , LPU have more than 3000 CCTVs and security guards are present within 100mt of range , so if you feel anything uncomfortable or someone is trying to disturb or something like that take there help. Security people are really very good.
