The best medical College for you, if you clear the cutoff

Dislikes

  • It took a lot of time to mix with each other
  • People are divided on the basis of regionalism but again that's a good thing because if you will divide them on the basis of money or caste it is worst

Course Curriculum Overview :

I took this course because it has a lot of job security and no need to worry about the future. doctors going to earn some money. As your college is quite old we have plenty of faculty available including jobs to assistant professors and junior residents you don't need to worry about proper management and education all of the professors have at least MD and further degrees including some fellowships and their research. exam in 2 parts internal one and two with prelims exam and the university exam just like boards.

Internships Opportunities :

As it is a Government Medical College internship here great provides a lot of exposure we get to learn a lot of things through professors and residents and it's a paid internship that's the best part.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As this is a Government medical College fees are quite low about 10000 per year for all the reservation students including OBC. In general, it is around 1 to 1.5 lakh. Furthermore, more government provides plenty of scholarships to the average student except for general.

Campus Life :

We have had plenty of fests in our college recently because of log down couldn't manage them but there were a lot of fests. The library has plenty of books to read. I am personally not the biggest fan of the classroom community here because it's a government college they are not providing you with plenty of things social life in Mumbai in general is a perfect lot of clubs and parties no need to worry there is Lonavala nearby.

Admission :

Cleared NEET, application on the official NTA website, which gives almost 75% of fees back each year, lot of waiting line is seen during admission. They can avoid this by providing proper slots to everyone to eliminate this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted always to cure people. Also, I come from rural areas where there are very less doctors. So I want to change this situation and bring health facilities to my area. My college stands ranked 3 in Mumbai,it gave us experience and a practical approach, and last year we has an internship where we could improve

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is under Competency Based Medical Education it is with competencies in each subject and it helps very well to conquer at each and every subject. The practicals are also very well taught so that you can get hands on in every type of equipment and knowledge about all the things. Medical field in itself is very hard to chase but the difficulty level is quite impresssive in our curriculum it maintains the academic level of the college and University. The timing is also well matched keeping in mind with all the holidays and preparatory time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always was drifted towards medicine the thought of having a scalpel itself was so mesmerizing! There is one asst professor per 50 students And on the dissection table or in small groups, we have 1 teacher per 9-10 students The teachers are highly qualified some are from AFMC some from well-reputated colleges We have a lecture then practical followed by a small group discussion of that topic mostly in anatomy Exams are quite regularly held and are definitely not easy to pass! They follow the pattern of MUHS but as per info, it was more difficult than that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is experienced and the majority of the professors are good at teaching. The course curriculum is as what is specified by MCI. Regular classes. Disciplined study environment. They teach you what would be required for you to crack the NEET PG exam. I wish they would take up more research projects.
