English is also a mandatory subject for eligibility in many of the universities and colleges. However, AIIMS requires an aggregate of 60% for the general category candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Also, along with these prerequisites, certain universities like Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi limits the age of the candidates ranging between 17 and 25. While, on the other hand, AIIMS has set the lower limit to be 17 years of age for any candidate to apply for the course.

As this is a Government medical College fees are quite low about 10000 per year for all the reservation students including OBC. In general, it is around 1 to 1.5 lakh. Furthermore, more government provides plenty of scholarships to the average student except for general.

Teachers here are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great. It's not a school where teachers come and teach. If you want to learn, you should approach the respective teachers, they all are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant.
First yr 67,000/- Second yr 90,000/- Third minor yr 67,000/- Fourth yr (third major) 67,000/- The stipend is provided during the internship period of 1yr. 11,000/-.
The practical knowledge and experience here is best so studying medicine is way better here. Also the teachers are very experienced and thus their knowledge is far from being just mere theoritcal knowledge.
Course syllabus was well up-to-date. Grant government medical college is one of the best medical college whickh provides all the facilities inside the college campus with very minimal need to go outside.
Grant Medical College in Mumbai sets an excellent example, making it the ultimate choice for aspiring medical professionals. Here's why you should consider this remarkable institution:

Based on the opinions within the medical community, I will provide some information on these colleges-
I don’t know much about GMC Patiala and GMCH Chandigarh, so I won’t comment on these two.
Make sure to choose a college with hardworking students. Good company will motivate you to study harder and excel in your field. Food and language barriers aren’t much of a problem in the long run.
I will try to answer this query as per my limited knowledge.
As for GMC, its teaching standards have declined. The classes aren’t as rich as in previous times. Even the study culture isn’t as good now. Only the brand name remains. Because of this, GSMC is currently much better ranked than GMC. So if you are from Lucknow, choose KGMU over GMC Mumbai. MBBS is quite stressful, and homely support does a lot for mental health.
Both GSMC and KGMU are good medical colleges. Choosing between these is a bit difficult. Research on the condition of PG reservation at Maharashtra colleges, and Provincial Health Services (PHS) rule in UP. This will help you make a better decision.
Both GSMC Mumbai and KGMU are excellent choices.Choose between the two based on various factors that I have listed above.
