The hostels are quite cheap considering they are in mumbai with a lot of freedom
The medical facilities like cadavers patients to practice are ample
The academic structure is quite supportive to the students
Dislikes
The class strength is quite high individual attention cannot be provided
The hostels are crowded for 1st and 2nd year students
Internship is quite hectik considering the 24 hrs shift with minimal wages

Placement Experience:
After final year university examination the placments for internship are compulsory in college after internship one can apply for either neet pg or registered medical officer opportunities are ample after mbbs
Area of Grant medical college is around 35 to 40 acres . It's huge area in Mumbai . This campus is itself a City . You can get anything you want in this campus with stationary shops , Bakery's and many more in the campus .
Scenery of college is beautiful . You get hand on experience here because patient load is huge in JJ Hospital
Quality of education and teaching here is perk . Many people think that GGMC has no good academics but it's totally a misnomer
Dislikes
Hostel and Mess issues = Hostel infrastructure is not so good . So called government hostels with 4000 ₹ annual fees can give you buzzard type of hostel as predicted . Mess food quality is poor .
Workload = Our Government medical college is attached to JJ Hospital . Huge patient load with lack of proper machineries lead to manual load to doctors and supporting staff
Lack of exposure to advanced medical innovations = Government has yet not introduced new machineries and concepts in government hospital to teach students upcoming doctors about them .
Course Curriculum Overview:
To heal patients is the main reason what we are into . It was my dream to pursue MBBS and here I am .
We as a future doctor have to go from tremendous pressure workload stress to be there for patients .Treating and during them during these 5.5 years .
An MBBS student has to learn 19 subjects to add the prefix Dr in front.
Teaching methods are being improved under MUHS, which is our state university, by adding postings and had on experience since 2nd prof of our degree.
The exam difficulty level is moderate to hard.
3 hours of theory exams followed by practical exams are there to test our knowledge.
Presence of Multiple Departments and Specialities with Experts in all Field
Vast Campus with Enjoyable College Life.
Encouragement of Extra Co Curricular Activities and has Multiple Clubs through which skills can be developed
Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:
Teachers are Highly Experienced with Great Clinical Knowledge.
Knowledge is imparted in a way that it can be applied through Practical Manners also.
Exams are pretty tough to pass but it gets you ready for greater challenges
I like the interaction between students and teachers
Dislikes
I think that the teaching can become more interesting
I think that the quality of food in canteen can be made better
Boys hostel should be renovated and water supply can be made better
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is well relevant with the course. In this curriculum we get practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge.
We get to practice dissection on cadaver to understand the anatomy of human body.
It prepares us for the real world applications and further academic pursuits.
I would suggest that the focus on clinical subjects should be there right from the 2nd year.
The frequency and timings of exams are well organised. These exams test our knowledge in every possible manner.
Infrastructure and space is excellent along with ongoing development. The campus size is about 43 acres and it has a new super specialty building coming up. It will be a totally modern facility with every specialist department one could ask for
Faculty is good in mentorship and are considerate and adequate
Events are amazing and the gymkhana is great
Dislikes
Well it’s much trouble for Mumbaikars to get a hostel room here even if it consumes 4 hours of your day commuting
Course Curriculum Overview:
Well treating people felt great to me that is why I chose this and the curriculum was revised in 2019 . Clinical postings start from 2nd year itself and are followed by post end exams..which assess you clinical calibre in every subject that requires clinical skills as well as patient management. The exams are frequent like we have an internal or 2 internals followed by prelims and then after a month or two we have the university exams. Teaching never misses out, there is always a faculty or if not, the resident doctors that are involved in patient management is wards dedicated to various professions (eg medicine ,surgery and so on)The paperwork and obtaining signs for completion is a hassle but understandable considering the busy work involved in handling so many patients all day
College campus is big in campus and historical value

Dislikes
There is nothing to dislike in campus. There is no hostel for localites in 1st year.
There is to many icidence of regionalism and politics.
Placement Experience:
College don't offer any placement.
5.5 yrs mbbs includes 1 yr internship in which interns are paid 18k for month.
While after mbbs you have to do service bond in rural areas in which dr.are paid 80k month.
Professor sir most friendly here and also care taking
You can find one of the best seniors here ragging is almost negligible and like other medical colleges
Social life is great here you will find one of the best friends
Dislikes
It took a lot of time to mix with each other
People are divided on the basis of regionalism but again that's a good thing because if you will divide them on the basis of money or caste it is worst
There is no other problem in our college it's almost perfect
Course Curriculum Overview:
I took this course because it has a lot of job security and no need to worry about the future. doctors going to earn some money. As your college is quite old we have plenty of faculty available including jobs to assistant professors and junior residents you don't need to worry about proper management and education all of the professors have at least MD and further degrees including some fellowships and their research. exam in 2 parts internal one and two with prelims exam and the university exam just like boards.
Campus part is really the best full of greenery and open spaces
Great deal of experience is provided here which can never be learned outside
Dislikes
Food can be a bit boring and not likeable just like any hostel
Surrounding area is heavily populated and noisy crowd can be too much sometime
Lots of pollution around campus though not inside due to bussiness and can be unhygienic sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview:
To be truthful I chose mbbs for my parents to be happy and honestly, I dont regret it a bit I was a bit scared at first about will I get proper tutoring or not or any proper guidance before admission but now it's pretty clear me that this college was a really great choice to be in terms of trained and experienced faculties each one of them is well qualified from well-renowned institutes. Our college is especially strict in terms of exams and dont tolerate anything in the study part
Gymkhana at Marine drive is the best in my college
Dislikes
I think there is nothing to dislike about
Course Curriculum Overview:
Every department has about 20-25 qualified professors.
Teaching faculty includes Hod, associate professor, assistant professor, and residents
Exams are every 4 months.
Moderate difficulty in passing.
Even if you fail there is no issue if you have at least 35% marks in your whole year's internal assessment.
