My college experience

Overall the college is good and the management do it's best to deliver maximum service to the students for their future

I didn't give any entrance exam but when I came here to get admission then they take my interview and ask about my 10th and 12th marks ,they also ask about my interest and my goals in life.The admission process in sce is very simple you just have to go there and give them your papers then they will do everything by themselves.

The course syllabus and structure is based on latest ubter(Uttrakhand board of technical education Roorkee) guidelines and in the guidelines it is clear that the main focus should be given to practical knowledge. Here you are free to access all the Instruments that you need if you want to do any research.

Our college is best in providing internships, they help us in finding the right company and assist us in applying there as well ,the average stipend given in internship is 3700 rupees.

I have seen that sce give max efforts in students so that they can be placed in best companies. Here we have special classes aside from pdp to assist students in placements and to increase their confidence. This year 90%of our senior get placed in companies like Eicher, Micromax,think next,etc And last year students also get placed in Google and Amazon.

There are lots of events that are celebrated in our college ranging from small co curricular activities like ,poster competition, technical compilation like coding,model making To large tournaments like inter college cricket tournament, volleyball tournaments, football tournaments. And the biggest and best one is college fest that happens for 3to 4 days.

The fee structure is quite feasible as compared to other colleges nearby. The fee can be decreased by some amount if the financial condition of student is not good. They do not pressurise students about fess and it is not necessary to submit whole fees of semester at once .

The scholarships are given to students who score good marks in entrance exams like Jeep or jee. And for the loan facilities college assist us in availing loans

Campus life in sce is very cool , we have many courts for games ,gym, music room,for enjoyment. Every Saturday an extracurricular activity is organised by senior students. On important days like ,ozone day ,Earth day ,women's day we organised debates poster competition,drama ,etc to celebrate it. Here everyear we organise a tech fest which includes robotics fight , coding challenge,etc

The hostels are well furnished and cleaned everyday there is 24 hr electricity supply ,WiFi , water. The food quality of mess is very high as the teachers and even our Dean also eat the same food so that the quality should always be maintained. When the hostels get full ,then there are many pg's in the range of 1km from college with the same facility like hostel.

The alumni are very helpful and we all are connected via LinkedIn and Facebook group of college. They recommend us in companies and tell inform us is there are any vacancies available where they work.

Here exams are carried out in semester patterns,each sem have three exams ,two are internal and one is external. There are strict rules for exams and the students should attend all the internal exams to get his internal marks . During practicals the external came in college and ask everything we have done in our practical classes.

The admission process starts from may and end on August. During admission time you have to carry your marksheets of 10th and 12th with 4 colour photos, your 12th tc (transfer certificate),and domicile. They will tell you to fill the admission form and deposit a minimal amount to reserve your seat. After all this they will tell you that your class will start from 1august.

The faculties are well qualified and best in their subjects ,there are many faculties from best colleges of India and some are even from nit's and iit's. They are show great interest in teaching us and help us clearing every doubt ,they even tell us that if we get any confusions while studying in home even then we can call them to clear it.
