Great faculty & teaching staff, good infrastructure of college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Includes 6 Semester examination and 6 internal examination. Along with the examination there is a 4 week industrial training which is done by the student in the industry of their own choice in their relevant field. I Have done my 4 week Industrial training at Power Transmission Corporation Uttrakhand LTD 132/32KV substation Purkul, Dehradun ( Uttrakhand) this gave me practical knowledge of the theoretical concept I have studied in my college. Along with the industrial training we have also made a project on automated street lighting system with the use of solar energy in the last semester of my college in which we have implemented our knowledge whuch we have gained during the course duration in the classes.

Placement Experience :

Placement was good many companies visited in the last year of our course including BPOs,KPOs, Service Provider, some software companies, some infrastructure companies & manufacturing companies like Tata, Mahindra, Anchor etc.

College Events :

A lot of events are celebrated in our college like annual sports day. Yearly college fest in which participants of various college participates along with them many celebrities also comes in college. In my course duration celebrities like Badshah, Kanika Kapoor camed in our college for giving their performance.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

54000 per year was the fees of the course Which includes semester fees examination fees library fees and other fees. Which student can give in 4 easy installments which can be given in 3 months gap by cash, card or cheque. College provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan during my course duration. My of other students of Scheduled Caste and scheduled tribes have opted for scholarship which gives 90% of the fees.

Campus Life :

Campus life was good people were awesome. Their is very few no. of girls in our college. College have a lots of labs of different subjects. Many competitions such as sports and debates and robotics competition are held in the college every year which have a great effect on our life

Alumni/Alumna :

Good Communication with Alumni network and senior students. They have shared their experience & knowledge with us along with this they have also helped in our academics and project works

Admission :

I Got Admission In GRD IMT Dehradun in August 2012, after clearing an entrance exam conducted by Uttrakhand Board Of Technical Education Roorkee. After securing good marks in the enterance exam, I got admission in my desired stream Diploma In Electrical Engineering which is a 3 year course which includes both theoretical and practical courses.

Faculty :

Faculty of our college included a perfect team of well trained professional with great knowledge of their respective field. There is one faculty for one subject followed by on lab technician,one Head Of Department for each branch. Class faculty are of an average age of 30years who are B.Tech qualified and past teaching and industrial experience Average age of HODs is 35 years having Masters Degree (MTech) with experience in teaching,industrial experience and management experience. Teachers have very good knowledge of the subjects and they have teached us with their best, they have cleared all of our doubts with theroy as well as with practical sessions

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester we eligible for campus placement. Many companies like TVs, bajaj tata, Anand, Schneider, samsung , HCL and many more do visit there every year. Highest package were offered by Samsung 19 lakh per annum. 50-60 % of students gets placements. My plan is to do hardwork in my workstation and get promoted to higher designation.
