An overview for college aspires

Dislikes

  • The excessively busy teaching schedule at times is a drawback. Balancing workload and personal time becomes challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have an interest in electronics, which is why I chose to enrol in the ECE branch. The captivating world of electronic components, circuits, and systems has always fascinated me, and I am excited to delve deeper into this subject. The faculty-student ratio of 1:26. Knowing that the professors and assistant professors hold PhDs reflects the high academic standards of the department. I've found that the mix of teaching assistants with M.Tech qualifications brings practical insights into the classroom, enriching our understanding of the subject. I appreciate the dedication and efforts of the teaching staff, with some being truly awesome in their teaching methods. \

Internships Opportunities :

In my college, internships offered by various tech and service companies hold immense potential for career development, particularly in areas like web and software development. The opportunity to work in such roles is enticing, with a substantial stipend of 85,000 per month. However, securing these internships demands proactive efforts. To be eligible for these competitive internships, students must showcase their skills through real-world projects that address practical issues. This reflects the importance of strong foundational knowledge in software development. These internships pave the way for hands-on experience, exposure to industry standards, and a chance to collaborate on actual projects. The substantial stipend signifies the value companies place on the skills you bring to the table.

Placement Experience :

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for placements. Prominent MNCs like TCS, Wipro, and prestigious product-based companies including FAANG attend these placements. Offers are extended based on each company's preferences. The highest package of 1.5 crore per annum was offered by Goldman Sachs, while the average package stands at 33 lakhs per annum. Most companies offer around 28 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is impressive, with up to 95% of students successfully placed. Given your interest in marketing, my future plan to pursue an MBA in the United States sounds promising.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Due to various factors, there has been a 6% increase in the fees for the upcoming semester. The cost of study per semester is now set at Rs.93,000. We understand that financial considerations are crucial for many students and their families, and we want to ensure that you are well informed about these changes. I'd also like to remind you that scholarship opportunities are available to help ease the financial burden. As per my background information, I would recommend checking out the scholarship section on the website. Scholarships can be a valuable resource to assist you in managing the costs of your education and pursuing your academic goals.

Campus Life :

we have "Effervescence," our much-awaited annual cultural festival, which takes place in the month of October. On the technical front, we have "Aproksha," our annual tech fest that occurs in June. The classroom amenities are designed for your convenience. Regardless of where you're seated, you'll have no trouble hearing and seeing the board, ensuring a seamless learning experience. For the sports enthusiasts, we have "Asmita," a thrilling three-day event where you'll get the chance to compete against local college teams in various sports. It's a celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Our campus is a hub of creativity and talent, and the extracurricular activities are a testament to this. Whether your interests lie in photography, dance, drama, painting, or literature, there's a dedicated society for you to express yourself and connect with your co-workers. Last but not least, the student-led body called "Gymkhana" plays a pivotal role in solving problems and enhancing their careers.

Admission :

I would like to share that my admission process to the ECE branch at IIIT Allahabad has been successfully completed through the JOSAA counselling. I achieved a remarkable JEE mains rank, which allowed me to secure a cutoff of 3515 (OBC category) for the ECE branch. I'm proud to have gained admission to IIIT Allahabad, one of the esteemed institutions for technical education. The college's cutoff rank for the ECE branch was 3750 for the OBC category, and I'm grateful to have surpassed it with my rank of 3515. SC/ST candidates can avail themselves of additional benefits. This includes the complete waiver of tuition fee and eligibility of NSP which offers a scholarship of 1,00,000 per year. I believe that the admission process is conducted meticulously. The transparency and efficiency are truly commendable.
