Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is industry oriented and the courses are based on the skills required in the industry. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and well-qualified. The exams are conducted twice a semester and the question is concept based.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are provided to eligible students with stipends of 20k and above. The internship is offered during the 7th and 8th semesters. The project that companies ask for is data science, web development, etc.

Placement Experience :

The placements of college are 80%. The highest package offer is 32lpa. Internship opportunities are also offered with stipends ranging from 15k to 30k. The companies vising thein college are Accenture, PWC, sap labs, tata power, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fee is 1.5 lakh per year and the hostel fee is 33000 per year. Scholarships are provided by the government to Odisha-domicile students. The campus jobs range from 5.5 lpa to 30lpa and the internship stipend ranges from 15k to 30k.

Campus Life :

The campus life is amazing and a number of fests are organized throughout the year. The annual tech fest noeisis is conducted during the month of April and the annual cultural fest Zygon is conducted during the month of May. The classrooms are well-maintained and ventilated and there is also a gym.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are well maintained. My room consists of 3 beds, 3 almirahs, 3 tables and 3 chairs with two fans and two lights. There is also provision for cold water. Washrooms are cleaned daily. The food in the mess is average and hygienic.

Hostel Fee : INR 33000 per year

Admission :

The admission is based on the score obtained in the ojee exam and admission to different courses are given through ojee counselling. There is also a provision for spot admissions and management quota. Reservations are there for Odisha domicile students and girl students.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

Students are available from 7th semester for their placements. This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
