If you are interested in very good study, Good college life, Good environment then this Institute is for you. But if you need any help as mal practice in exam or outsider help for exam, not attaining classes, then please feel free to check other institute. Because this institute is very strict regarding thi.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is affiliated to BPUT, Rourkela, Odisha. Now it has became autonoms. All branches related to software sectors are available there and very fair examination. Aaj autonoms institute it conducts it's own examination and also it has it's own syllabus.

Placement Experience :

Placement is very good. Almost 80-90% students get the placement in this institute. If you are not interested in placement then study is sufficient to crack any competitive exam. Every year 70-80 students are cracking Gate with very good Rank any Many of them are cracking IES exam.

College Events :

Yearly 5-6 cultural festivals are being organised by the student council. Tech Fest is also organised yearly for students of this college as well as for students of other institute. In annual sports students of others institute are also invited to boost the competition level.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

During my time the fee was 98500 per year. As time now the fee structure according to me is 125000 approximately. This is just a guess. But the education facilitaties are very high compare to the fee structure. Hostel fee is separate. But the facilitaties are very good

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

From Odisah Government Many scholarship facilitaties are being given to students. You will also get the study loan very easil if you mention about this institute. Now the institute also helping students to avail loan.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is approximately 2:1. One party for hostel students and one for all students are being organised yearly. There are cultural society, robotic society available. Student council is also available there to organise all the events.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni culture is very strong in Silicon. Every Siliconite help their junior or friends in their problems. It may be of any type. Even they offer jobs to their juniors and help them get setteled. In institute itself the seniors help the juniors in every problems as family.

Admission :

One of the best Institute in Odisha. It gives 85-90% placement. The teaching facilities here are the best. Also awarded 3 times as the best Institute for engineering in eastern India. There are Many transport facilitaties available to reach there.

Faculty :

The facilitaties are very competent. Maximum facilitaties have PHd degree from IIT/NIT or any other recognized institute. They will listen to every question or doubt of students and will clarify it immediately.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
