- Faculty behaviour: some of them are really supportive, but mostly can't say
- Scholarships: the state scholarship and merit scholarship both are good
Dislikes
- Mess food, management, hostel, faculty, curriculum
- Exam pattern, labs, assignments, timing (8 hours classes without break in between), lack of opportunities
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum! What to say... Ever since this college became autonomous, the papers and exam pattern are bizzare... I choose btech because I always wanted to get into web field, but here there is no coding culture... Most of my curriculum is easy, like they excluded all the difficult portions which is not a good thing at all Yeah they foster creativity by giving good projects each semester but the studies are really bad ... The faculties here are really nice in terms of behaviour but I'm afraid most of them are not competent and qualified... Most of them don't have phds, still they became professors because of experience and most of them don't know how to teach... Most of the classes aren't that fruitful if you get bad faculty, I study from internet, college notes, books, and lecture notes before exams... There is lack of coding enthusiasm between students, if you're opting computer science please be aware
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are generally courses which are paid by you to do them And that too, there isn't any selection process, it's just like an additional course offered by college Yeah, you get intresting projects every semester which foster your creativity, if you're applying off campus that should help
Placement Experience :
Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In year 23-24 the btech fees is 105000/yr There are great scholarship opportunities which you can avail (check website) If you're thinking about taking loan, dude hold on - Incampus placements wouldn't clear your EMI, study hard for that Here placements are really poor but increasing rapidly
Campus Life :
Dude, there are just sports events for you lifestyle, nothing else... The clubs which are running here neither have equipments nor students nor mentors, the clubs and societies are really unprofessional, unmanaged, and for most of the students 'unexisting' Life here is mostly boring, it is situated in really outskirts of the city, there are very less fun activities going on Very less compitions, opportunities, very irresponsible management There is a very small gym, no open air gym, there is no swimming pool, basketball court is destroyed, there is only one small ground where all the sports are played ???? If you're someone who needs opportunities, please be aware If you're coming just for certificate then you're welcomed with regular attendance
Admission :
They say they select on the basis off ojee and jee mains rank, but in reality there is no criteria of any entrance exams or even board marks. A minimum 50 percentage in 12 boards is required (that too optional) You can call the admission cell for online admission, directly do admission in the campus, or get in through ojee counselling process Pro tip: go to the campus, some unnecessary fees get deducted There are plenty of reservation benefits, the scholarship cell is really good, and scholarships were my only reason for taking admission here Overall admission process wasn't that hectic, it was easy
