Remarks :

college have a very good atmosphere and is a wonderful place to improve skill,college consist of a big library best for the exam preparation and faculty are also friendly and cooperative.best part of this college is it supports student for competitions.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My college follows the rule of AICTE and is affiliated to BPUT,rourkela.our course is also similar to iit course and our exam patters consist 2 internal exam for all subject,2 surprise test and 1 quiz test for all subject.

Placement Experience :

No college dont provide any type of internship but college promots internship and also provide good opportunity and also consider attandance for the same.job opportunity in this college is good most of the senior got placed in 3-5 lakh package per anum and highest package 8 lakh.

College Events :

My college have one annual sports event and three music and dance event with one techinical fest named a NEOSIS.Three music event named as ZYGON,CULTURAL NIGHT AND RYTHYMNOVA.college also have a event on freshers welcome.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our college fee structure is average with the cost of 1,38,000 per year with good library ,internet facility with bus facility thought the city.extra 1lakh for the hostel and food facility. overall the fee structure is average.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The best thing our college have is money help done by college when you represent college in national level and state level hakathon.i have also got 12k for a hakathon in vssut,burla and will get 40k in smart india hakathon.

Campus Life :

college support less extracurricular activities and mostly support studies.labs are good and have all type of equipment and workshop have also all type of machines.we have 1 annual sports every year and 3 music event all year.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is good and very clean.it is really good believe me.the main problem in every college is bad and smelly toilet.but really our college have a good team for cleaning.and our college food is really good some times not healthy but really good

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes senior student are very helpfull and my college supports no ragging so its very nice but college have no alumni networking platform but you can connect with them in linked in and they will surely help you.

Admission :

I got admission by jee main mark.our college is under AICTE.so selection is done by jee main and any 12th passed student can join the college by clearing the cuttoff mark.the last year cuttoff rank is approx 3.4lakh

Faculty :

college faculty are mostly good and cooperative and are very serious about the course and studies. Course is completed within the time and complete all the contents of the syllabus but some old teacher are not cooperative.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
