Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose as I was interested in doing an MBA from a great college. I also wanted the experience of a residential program as it was my last educational degree. The teaching method of both textbooks and case studies with ample class participation results in a holistic learning environment where the talents of every student shine. There are 6 terms here.

Placement Experience :

The placements are great in my college. the highest CTC was 41.61 Lakhs CTC. Finance and consulting was one of the most sought-after roles in our college with 51 % of the batch getting placed in these two domains. The average CTC was 20.55 Lakhs and the median CTC was 19.5 lakhs. Some prominent recruiters who came were JPMC, Wells Fargo, Amazon, NatWest Group, Avalon Consulting, and McKinsey.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee is 19.5 Lakhs for 2 yr. We also need to pay 1.2 lakhs for the mess in 2 yrs but they refund the unused amount. other than that there are no major expenses. Regarding scholarships, there is government of India scholarships for SC, ST, PWD, and minority candidates.

Campus Life :

The campus is as pretty as they come. It is equipped with all of the modern technologies, aesthetic architecture, and well-decked classrooms. Even our hostels are comfortable and quite spacious with AC in every room. However, there are two students on a twin-sharing basis but from next term, it will be single occupancy as the new hostels are nearly completed. The best of the best in our library, where there are plenty of places for group studies such as glass rooms, group pods, group tables, etc equipped with the latest subscriptions and publications. There are also plenty of student-run clubs and committees such as the Cultural committee, sigma eta, matrix, rangmanch, Litrichy, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel that is provided is great. It is spacious and well-built with campus-wide wifi, plenty of lighting, a balcony in every room, lifts in every hostel, clean bathrooms, and plenty of staff available for maintenance. However, we are on a twin-sharing basis but as the new hostels are nearly completed we will be moved to single occupancy rooms from the next year. The mess quality and menu are also awesome. We get eggs, dal, vegetable curry, sambhar, snacks, panner and egg curry almost every day with chicken present twice a week. however special chicken curry can be bought for a very nominal price. Hostels are affordable as they are included in our tuition fees.

Admission :

I gave the CAT entrance test. It was a great experience and the exam was handled in a structured manner. After I got shortlisted from IIM Trichy I was selected for the Common Admission Process. My cutoff was 74 percentile and I was way above that. After that, I had a Personal Interview which went great. I got multiple offers from IIMs. I choose to join IIM Trichy as it was my dream call. I went in via NC-OBC quota. The entire admission process went smoothly. The admissions office is really cooperative and helped me throughout the journey whenever I faced any issue/obstacle.

Interview Experience :

Yes, I did a Personal Interview via CAP. I prepared for these rounds by first thinking about why I want to do an MBA and self-introspection. Then I prepared my HR questions, GK questions, Current affairs, and my graduation topics. I was asked a couple of questions regarding my hometown, a few hypothetical scenarios, and my studentship. overall it was a comfortable experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good on this campus. We have had so many big companies to recruit from our college. average salary package to our seniors was around 7-8 LPA. The highest was 16LPA if I remember. Our batch had so many zero selects after the company attended because the election time was nearing and the market was dull. But they will try their maximum to get everyone placed.

Placement Experience:

We are spending so much money to get placed right? so yeah placements are good with 90% of students getting placed. Many companies come and hire students with an average salary of 4.5 lacs. The lowest can go till 2 lacs but unless you are in the college for fun you will not get a such a low salary.

Admission:

No, my admission was based on my entrance exam scores, and they also asked if I had any previous work experience. The entrance exam was difficult to pass; I passed on my second attempt after studying online.

Remarks:

The reason for pursuing MBA program from this college is its tuition fee which is too low. Inspite of low fee, the facilities provided here and the on campus placement record. Post checking the official website I registered myself and filled the application form and paid the application fee firstly. Further, my score in undergraduate and TANCET exam was considered for enrolling me at this college.

Placement Experience:

Around 90% placement is recorded every year in our college. The top recruiters who have tie-up with our college and make a visit for offering job are Zoho, Amazon, HCL, Deloitte,IBM, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance and others as well. Also, they offer handsome packages to the deserving ones. Though I have not been a part of placement drive. I had asked the details from my seniors and they said that the whole placement process is easy to clear. Most importantly, the highest package offered to our seniors was 6 LPA and the average package reached till 3 LPA.

Remarks:

I am very satisfied with the kind of teaching we received, thanks to our esteemed faculty. Course fee is very much budget-friendly and the infrastructure provided is exceptionally good. Library is humongous if not gigantic.

Admission:

The admission process is pretty straight forward. The MBA program offered by the college is a self-financed course and caters to the need of students who fail to appear for any entrance level management test. You have to just fill out the application form, with relevant details and present all the relevant documents.
