faculties could have been really better if they were a bit more understanding towards their fellow students
the infrastructure of the college could hv been better

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was interested in core jobs which are preferable nowadays rather than IT sectors. here the faculties are quite helpful and they have really a good connection with her students.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

summer internships take place with referral to each n every year student. after passing each year you have the opportunity to take an internship on any preferrable subject u want and so on this internship is paid internship. if u do good you will surely get a cashback for your efforts.

Placement Experience :

in our college placements start coming when we get into 3rd year that is 6th semester. if some student doesn't get any campus or doesn't sit for any campus then he/she gets opportunities based on his/her skills.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fees here including the hostel are about 2,50,000 per year, excluding the hostel the fees are about 2,00,000. the most amazing is that if you have a financial crisis u can opt for a study loan where Silicon provides all the necessary documents for the sanction of the loan and you can study with the help of that.

Campus Life :

Here every year there are many functions. techfests and functions take place which helps to preoccupy the students in many ways. this becomes one of the reasons why different people interact with each other and get to know many new things in real life as well as in social life.

Admission :

being an engineering student the admission process was really tough at the time. yes, I had gone for JEE mains examination which was an entrance exam and that gave me the opportunity to study in this college because of its ranking system, and based on my rank I was selected for this college.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
