Course Curriculum Overview :

My course provides opportunities for both the core and IT sectors. Not just this, but in EEE, you can learn a lot. Faculty: student ratio is okay. Teachers are highly qualified. Our college's academics are very strong. It's moderate to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Over 50% of the placed students get an average compensation package of more than 5.1 LPA. The number of students with paid internships increases every year, with the highest internship offer going up to 40,000 per month in 2022.

Placement Experience :

Students get eligible after their 6th semester. The average package is given 6 lacs per annum and the highest package is 25 lacs per annum. I want to do higher studies after I complete my BTech. Good companies like Infosys, Accenture, and HCl provide good packages. 90% of students are getting placed here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is good according to the facilities given. I don't feel like our college takes a lot of money in vain, it gives good opportunities and placements. I don't know if there's any opportunity for scholarships or anything, but yes there's a scheme called "TUITION FEES WAIVER" which may help people under EWS.

Campus Life :

Our tech fest is NIRMAN AND NOESIS. Our annual fest is named ZYGON. our campus isn't vast, but it has a lot of greenery which gives us peace of mind. It has a Skylab in the center which has WIFI connectivity to do any sort of work with ease. There are a lot of clubs which are run by the students namely, ED CELL, SMC, SSC, ETC. the sports complex isn't that developed but manageable.

Admission :

For eligibility to study at the silicon institute of Technology, you have to appear in JEE. If you score around 1-2 lacs of rank then you can easily get admission in the CSE branch in SIT. application fees and application dates are declared by the college through the official site. Application for the college is done through counseling of NTA. If you are having any reservation opportunities, it's best to consult offline in our II-CELL, to get more details. I didn't feel like our college needs any improvement as I didn't face any issues and the admission process was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because at that time I was keenly interested in Engineering drawings, architecture, construction as well as estimations and costing. Here the faculty-student ratio is approx 1:18. Almost 1/3rd of the faculty are permanent and have a doctorate and they are well experienced. Guest faculties are also from prestigious colleges holding masters and bachelors. Examinations were conducted regularly in class as well as there used to be 2 internals in a sem and one end sem exam. Questions were set by the BPUT and it was moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

College claims to provide 100% placements to its students, Students from the 7th semester can sit in placements. Many big companies come to recruit on campus every year like Amazon, Dell, Accenture, Wipro, cognizant. The HIghest package was Rs 39lpa by amazon. Profiles like data analyst, software developer, coding, data scientists etc are offered by companies. I am planning to take up an IT sector job

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like Ajatus, Byjus, Wipro , Infosys offer placement opportunities in our college. The placement rate has deteriorated over the past 5 years. Earlier 50 %-80%students were placed but now only 20%-30%are placed. Earlier the highest package was 10 LPA and the average package was 4LPA. Now the rate has decreased greatly. The college still tries its best to bring companies. Earlier the placements were more of on-campus placements but now it's mostly off campus. The training and placement cell hence prepares students for the recruitment process and selects the best students and gets them placed. After getting the degree I would be applying for interviews on the technical line off-campus and side by side I would do my higher studies like M.TECH.
