Course Curriculum Overview :
As we know computer science is a large field. And also I want to become a software engineer. About faculty-student, I would say that in our college more than 2000 students are there and there are 56 faculty present on our campus. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and have done their Ph.D. also. Teaching methods are also good. Silicon is known for its discipline. Questions are somehow hard and the exam is conducted over a gap of 1 or 2 months.
Internships Opportunities :
If you want a paid internship with a good stipend then you have to apply it outside of the college. Otherwise, colleges offer summer internships in various fields. And the internship is mandatory after the end of the year. Project outcomes are quite good.
Placement Experience :
After the end of the 6th semester, everyone is eligible for the placement. There are a lot of companies like more than 40 companies are visited every year in our campus. In 2023 campus recruitment average highest package is 3000k and the average package is 400k per year. 88% of students get the placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are a bit high for those who want to take admission to our college. 75000 per semester fees. If your parent's annual income is less than 600k and your semester cgpa is more than 9 then you will get the scholarship opportunity.
Campus Life :
There is a lot of campus activity done in our college. An annual fest like Zygon is done every year and the dg night is in the gap of every 3 months. Tech fests like Nirman and a bunch of hackathons were done in our college. Silicon has a big book library facility. There are 2 basketball courts and 4 badminton pitches and 1 volleyball field and 1 football field. All the clubs are managed by our senior students.
Hostel Facilities :
You can live with 3 roommates in a particular room. 3 beds and 3 tables and 3 chairs and 3 lockers. Meal quality I would say average. You can easily do the registration process and it is affordable. Nontreated a room. Hostel life is quite good.
Admission :
I gave the Jee exam in the back of 2020. And scored 83 percentile. Then I applied for the OJEE college selection procedure. I got Computer Science Engineering in the third round of the selection procedure. I called the admission instructor about the details of the admission process and fees. No idea about reservation benefits. The admission process was quite good.
