The learning experience was pretty good during the college period.
Library is very good. We can get whatever books we need from the library.

I think fees structure is still very high. And there are many hidden charges.
There must be one or two more annual fest to have some quality times for students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course as it gives me an open field to explore in the software sector. There are 20 to 25 members of the faculty. Student ratio 2:1. All the faculty members are MCA and MSc IT holders. Some of them are Ph.D. holders as well. Their teaching method is very good. It works for me pretty well. There are one end-semester exam and two internal exams. The difficulty level is quite hard.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are based on semester to semester. You have to deposit fees at the start of a new semester. The approximate cost for completion of this course is 300000 Rs. I didn't get any scholarship. But you can apply for a scholarship so that fees will be reduced to 50%. Compass placement jobs vary from software to bank sector with 35000 to 40000 Rs per month.

Campus Life :

There is an annual festival in the month of September. There are lots of books related to different fields in the library. The library has many monthly magazines and daily newspapers There are several facilities including AC, fan, projector in each class, seating comfortability is very good. There are several sports that happen on campus including badminton, football, cricket, carrom, etc. There are several extracurricular activities including dance competitions, singing competitions, debates, art competitions, industrial tours, etc. There are no social pages that are run by the students.

Admission :

Any students who have completed Bachelor's degree can apply for this course with Maths subject in 10+2. You can apply online or offline for this course. Application fees are 500 Rs and the application process starts in the month of June.

Knowledge In a friendly and Respectable Manner

Placement Experience:

From the final Year, Students are eligible for internship and pre-placement opportunities. Average salary package idls 5 to 7Lpa provided by various companies 70 per cent stufents get placements. The companies give good packages. The highest package goes above 10 Lakhs. The companies are like accenture, TCS. My plans are to go for Research Field in my respective domain

Remarks:

Entrance Preview:

MCA department internal entrance test.I choose this college because i wanted to study MCA and it is one of the premier college in entire North East.I got passed ot BCA so I choose to study MCA and after i ceared my entrance i got my chance.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities are not remarkable. They do arrange some of the placements recruitments but seeing the number of employees thats not enough what i feel. Also the all recruitment arrange by the recruitment cell only and very few faculties took part in that process in our time which is really horrible.
