Since this is my first year, I feel that not much focus has been placed on practical learning yet.
We visited many diverse organizations working on different subject matters, such as Priyobondhu, AVA creations, NECHRI, B. Barooah Cancer Institute, and many more.

Dislikes

Few companies that come for MBA are not from big firms and pay low salaries, which are not sufficient for MBA students.
Almost 50% of the students in the final semester have to leave college without any job placements

The placements that are held in the college for bachelor degree and as well as for master degree students, inviting variety of companies for recruitment.
The exposure of diferrent seminars and webinars that are held offline and online by some experienced and great people of various companies who speak about their experience and learnings

Dislikes

Nothing that i disliked but it can definetly improve its management style

After graduation also students are getting placed in various companies from college placement. It ensures that all the students should get placemnet before they leave the boundaries of the college. Students have got placements and i too received one

I like my college very much and it has very good faculty

Hostel’s seat capacity is not enough and college has no playground

Bba is a very good course it helps us understand businesses and it also helps to make our personality better. Bba program occurs a well rounded foundation in business fundamentals. It has equipped me with a solid understanding of business and the necessary skills to succeed in a professional world

The college enviornment is good. The faculty members are friendly
The teachers are very serious about studies.

There is no proper ground or field in the campus.
It is near the roadside so there is noice pollution sometimes

The curriculum is very systematic. The teaching method is good. Many programmes are organised related to our career. Many well known people gives us lectures on our career. The sessional exams are held after three months of starting of the course. The semester exams are held in May and December.

Environmemt is good for study and faculty members are co-operative.
The institution is dedicated to providing quality education and training to the next generation.

Placement Experience:

The institute has a dedicated Placement Cell which provides placement Assistance to all the students enrolled in different programmes of the institute. This includes placements after successfully completing their Master's Programme and Concurrent field work after each semester. Both on-campus and off-campus interviews are arranged regularly. Several Multinationals and reputed National Firms belonging to different sectors have been regularly recruiting students from the NERIM Group of Institutions from time to time.

Pros and Cons of study in NERIM, Guwahati

Likes

The learning experience was pretty good during the college period.
Library is very good. We can get whatever books we need from the library.

Dislikes

I think fees structure is still very high. And there are many hidden charges.
There must be one or two more annual fest to have some quality times for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as it gives me an open field to explore in the software sector. There are 20 to 25 members of the faculty. Student ratio 2:1. All the faculty members are MCA and MSc IT holders. Some of them are Ph.D. holders as well. Their teaching method is very good. It works for me pretty well. There are one end-semester exam and two internal exams. The difficulty level is quite hard.

Placement Experience:

At the end semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit the campus like HDFC, Flipkart, Pantaloons, Reliance, Amul, etc, and have made various offers. The highest package was 1.5 Cr and the average is 3.5 L. 70 % of students get placement. I am planning to pursue MBA after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly to the one who's reading it, let me tell you one thing. If you're very much motivated enough about any subject you want to choose then definitely go for it. In my honest review, Social Work never came to my mind at first thought. It took me a lot of research and time. Let me give you a brief of what exactly is Social Work. Most of you would say that it's about helping people, and a lot of other stuff. But readers, I must tell you one thing, Social Work isn't just limited to the idea of helping people, it is also about making people capable enough to help themselves. And for that work, you need a whole different level of motivation. The best part about this course (BSW), it gives you both practical and theoretical-based forms of learning, so obviously, you can imagine that you don't have to sit and attend classes till 5 in the evening. Fieldwork is the core subject here, and with that, you would get other important papers like Public Health, Criminology, and Community Organisation.

For BBA you r eligible from the 5th-6th sem to sit for placement and for MBA campus placements start from the 3rd semester onwards companies like Flipkart, ICICI, Kotak, Axis Bank etc come for placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always been interested in the IT sector. So I choose this course. In Nerim, faculty members are very friendly and teach us very nicely. Each semester we have two examinations at the semester and end semester. In between these, they conduct class tests also.
