Dispur law college in Assam was established in the year 1993 to impart high quality legal education.The foundation stone of the college was laid by then Chief Minister of Assam Karmashri Late Hiteswar Saikia on 9th March 1995.It is permanently affiliated to Guhawati University. The affiliation of Dispur Law College is duly approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi. Almost with the two decades of experiment and experience the college has emerged as an excellent legal education institution in the whole North eastern region.It provides undergraduate courses in the field of law(L.L.B).

The main mission of the college is to enhance professional quality in organization by education and training a new generation of professionals having high level professionalism with value system and perceptive social responsibilities.

As for me it is one of the best College i feel very fortunate to be a student of such a good College, it is located right at the heart of Guwahati, with good environment and they also provide library facilities and net cafe with number of computers for students use.i would not say it is the best but i must say its one among the best.

DHE Assam has released the first merit list for UG Admission 2025. Candidates can check the list on the official portal @assamadmission.samarth.ac.in. The last date to report to the allotted college for admission is June 9, 2025. Further, the second merit list will be out on June 12, 2025
