IIITV - A Lotus in mud!

Dislikes

  • Not permanent campus
  • Fees is quite high

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure of the whole B. Tech is so perfect and is designed accordingly to industrial requirements. No unnecessary things are in the course structure. The faculties are highly trained and educated along with that they are also too supportive. Two exams per semester (Mid sem and End Sem)

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies visited our institute for internship opportunities like Amazon, Siemens, Dunzo, etc. offering 100000, 50000, and 50000 respectively for different roles like Software Developer Intern and Data Science Intern.

Placement Experience :

Our institute is known only for its mind-blowing placements. Our Placement statistics beats most of NIT placement. 100% of eligible students got placed. Highest offered by Amazon Lowest was 6LPA Many dream companies visited our institute like Oracle.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is above average for normal colleges fees. Institute fees are around 85-95k per semester excluding hostel and mess fees. However, students can apply for different scholarships as per their eligibility.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is quiet. In a general perspective, the campus doesn't immunes it's the surrounding environment. Cultural, Technical, and many fests are organized to keep students active in co-curricular activities. The library is available inside the institute premises

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are quite good. However, our hostel is not permanent so currently, it is located inside a colony. Hostel fees are around 33k per semester. Mess facilities are separated from the hostel, which means we need to pay around 19k for a semester.

Admission :

Yes, I gave the entrance exam of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) in the year 2019 with a percentile of 96. I was under the OBC-NCL category but as we know Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara doesn't consider any category if the candidate is from outside Gujarat.

As of last year, most of the students who applied for campus placement got placed but with an average ctc of rs 5 lakh/annum. The companies visited include Adani Port, Adani gas, Torrent Power, and other companies. The highest package was rs 15 lakh. Generally, most students from here prepare for entrances like a gate, toefl, cat, etc for admission in masters.

Faculty needs to be focused on. Infrastructure needs to be established asap. Currently we reside in mentor institute SVNIT. So there is some level of socialization as the mentor institute is well established.
