Remarks :

IIIT Vadodara is an ‘Institute of National Importance’. This is a tag for which I had compromise certain facilities and take admission here. This Institute is specialized in Information Technology so coding culture is awesome. Its placement is awesome and much better than many NITs (Highest Package - 36LPA, Average Package - 11LPA & Lowest Package - 6LPA with 100% placement). Many big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Mathswork etc. visited here. It offers only CSE & IT courses so it was a good choice for me because I aspire for computer branch.

Placement Experience :

The institute commenced its operation in the year 2013, and there have been 3 placement rounds upto date. There have been lots of changes in the placement activities now, because now we have a dedicated Training and Placements Officer, who looks after all the placement activities, and even helps in giving internships to students. 2020 batch placement - List of Recruiters: 30+ companies Batch Size: 74, Students placed: 74 (100%) Highest Package: 36 LPA Average Package: 11 LPA Placement is improving year by year. There were eight International Offers based in Japan, Germany, and Malaysia. Top Recruiters: Amazon, Mathworks, Adobe, Quikr, Siemens, Sigmoid, ICICI Bank, International Firms.

College Events :

We organize much much exciting fests : Technical Fest - Cerebro Cultural Fest - Kreiva We also have other events like : IIITV-Hackathon Ventura - Sports Events and many Coding Competitions are organized in a year etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You can get scholarship from your respective states. I'm from UP so I get scholarship by UP goverment. You can also avail education loan facility. SBI provides you education loan upto 20 lakh without any collateral.

Campus Life :

We do not have a Permanent Campus. It is expected to have one by the Academic Year 2021–22. The Land for our Permanent Campus has been bought and the Master Plan of our Institute is already decided. Our New Campus will be in Dumad, Vadodara, Gujarat. IIIT Vadodara is currently running in 9th Block, GEC Gandhinagar, Sector 28, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Our temporary campus is also good. In terms of sports, we have Football ground, Cricket ground. You can play TT, Carrom, Chess. We also have a sports events "Ventura".

Hostel Facilities :

Since, last two years we had a hostel PDPU High Rise which was approx. 19kms away from our Institute’s Campus (GEC). We will have a New Hostel : SABAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR GIRLS which is 32kms away from our Campus. Institute arranges Bus Facilities for us to travel from Hostel to Campus and back. Institute charges us for the Bus along with the FEES. Therefore, the Total Distance (return) comes out be 64kms, we can call it to be one of the major drawbacks of our Institute. It’s upto you whether you can manage this or not, though one can also utilize the time in the Bus. Our Hostels rooms are big enough. The rooms are 3-seater and 4-seater. For 3-seater you have to pay 22000 per sem and for 4-seater you have to pay 18000 per sem. The facility t you are provided in hostels are wi-fi (speed upto 500kbps), gymkhana, laundry.

Life in the University of students.

Placement Experience:

In this University after 6th semester students get eligible for campus placement, and after 4th semester students get eligible for internship program. Many companies visited the college and many no. Of offer made. It depends on the students that they are eligible or not, they have skills pr not. In current highest package is around 20lakh or 18lakh, and I don't have Idea about avarage package. Many students placed. My plan is to start business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because the future is AI and it has better job opportunities in the future ..there will be 70 students in each class and 25 sections overall in cse. there will be a sufficient number of faculty in every class. there will be one mid-exam and one end-semester exam for each sem, they are really supporting.

After the successful completion of the 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies had visited our college for placement like TCS, IBM in computer and IT fields.
