Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very well and good. I had chosen this because this is a very vast field and had a lot of job opportunities available in this space. Also, I am good at drawing. So, I would like to choose this branch. And our teachers are highly qualified and are Ph.D. degree holders. Our exams used to happen every two months.

Placement Experience :

The placements in our college are very very good. The highest package in our college is around 15 lakh per annum and the lowest package offered is 4 lakh per annum. And the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. The companies visited in our college are Tata, Infosys, etc. Almost 95% of college students get their college placements. And I am planning to do a job after that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees of our college is 18000rs per annum. And there is no fees hike policy available in our college. I think the fees is very much affordable to anyone who want to pursue B Arch. Yes, there are scholarship available to us which are UP government scholarship and centeral government scholarship.

Campus Life :

The campus life at our college is very good. There is a large community of students. And all of our seniors are very helpful and help us in our studies and our doubts. The library of our college is very big and it had a lot of books, magazines, journals, etc. All the needed resources are available here in our college. Yes, there are a lot of social groups or clubs where students can actively participate in it.

Admission :

The admission process is somewhat difficult. You have to give an entrance exam for the course. You have to give AMU entrance test. The application forms can be found on the official website of AMU. Yes, there is some special benefit given to girls and also reserved for other categories. No, the admission process is well and good. So, no improvement in the admission process is required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose architecture because I wanted to build great buildings. The curriculum was mostly fancy and outlandish that involved projects that were not fit for Real world applications. The work that an architect receives on average were mainly focused in third and fourth year. Other than that it was either Grand projects or projects that were not for Real world applications. The pacing of the curriculum was very fast and the saw majority of students were not able to finish their projects by time. There semester exams and and project submissions mid semester. Difficulty level was above average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most difficult situation that a student will face in architecture is taking a 6 hour architectural design paper with no breaks what so ever. The degree is itself is quite hectic and no matter how much you manage it, sleepless nights before submission awaits you. Plus, you will have 3-4 submissions every week.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose architecture because it is very creative and we could express our feelings though it. It provides us the understanding of various things like how a building structure formed and how it works ,how we should prevent a building from falling in natural disaster etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very old and outdated. They are still making assignments on cartridge sheets. I would suggest the incorporation of modern technologies like CAD, Photoshop, etc. from the first semester only. We are learning bookish knowledge but not getting any hands-on practice or observing practical work on-site.

Remarks:

No reason at all. Faculty was nice at first but not anymore. The only good thing maybe it has big gardens. But nothing else at all. Very partial. Attendance is a burden here.

Entrance Preview:

I took NATA and scored 100 from 200. I chose amity because of friendly atmosphere and good infrastructure.

Internships Opportunities:

No, the college does not provide us with internships. We have to get our own internships and generally there is no stipend.
