Course Curriculum Overview :

I took ECE as it was my dream branch because of its wide scope. The faculty of ECE here in NIT Srinagar is just fantabulous and amazing, with great knowledge and qualification, they are much helping and genuine. The best thing about our branch is I think our faculty is keeping us all time exam ready by taking classes and tests frequently

Class Size : 105Course Fees : INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college is giving internship opportunities to their students with students getting internships from IITs and many other top companies. Students get paid for internships and gain experience and also money.

Placement Experience :

The placements of our college saw an abrupt rise in the last few years and many of the students getting Package ranging from 15lac to over 30lac per annum. In this year 2022, our college received 90% placement with high package of over 40LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If your family income is less than 1LPA, you'll get an absolutely 100% fee waiver in almost every NIT in the country and if your income is between 1-5LPA, you have to pay 1/3 of the tuition fee which is approximately 1/3x1.3LPA and if your annual income is more than 5LPA, you'll have to pay all your fee. Apart from this, you can avail of other scholarships

Campus Life :

You must have heard about the fun of being in a hostel... Hostel Life is full of emotions, fun, etc. You get a lot to learn from hostel Life. Here in our college the hostels are well maintained and the atmosphere is just amazing between students.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels in NIT Srinagar are located at the feet of Beautiful and Naked mountains..they wear such a fantastic look and also the admin has maintained the hostels and provided all necessary facilities. The mess in NIT Srinagar is considered one of the best throughout the NITS

Hostel Fee : INR 16000 per year

Admission :

The admission process in NITs as you know is completely on a merit basis and you have to undergo one of the toughest exams JEE Main and the same did I. I cleared JEE Main in 2021 with 92%ile and went through JOSAA counseling and got ECE in just the 2nd round. I froze the seat and then went to college for physical verification.. the whole journey of admission was really enjoyable

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is average as theory teaching is very good but at the same time practical teachings are very bad . There are hardly any tours outside the university. There should be practical teachings and teachers should make friendly environment.

All about NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their 4th year ie. 7-8th semester. All the major recruiters like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Samsung, L&T, Lowes, GAIL, NHPC, and many Govt. PSUs visit the campus for recruitment. A product-based giant like Microsoft has also visited the campus for placement. Average Package of all the branches is around 6-7 lac and for CS/IT the avg package is 11-12 lacs. The highest package last year was of 22 lacs offered by GAIL India to a student from mechanical engineering. 3 students from CS/IT and one from ECE were offered a package of 19 lacs by Lowes India. Many students go for higher studies to top foreign Universities and some in India's top Institutes.
