Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course because I am interested in Finance and Strategy. So I thought that pursuing a PGPM from an esteemed institute like IIM would help me fulfil my dream. The number of faculty currently in the college is 43, and the student intake is 410. This makes the faculty: student ratio approximately 1:10. The faculty are extremely qualified and have pursued their Ph.D. from esteemed institutes like IIM and IITs. The exams were held always on time, and they were very difficult to pass. The course curriculum is cased based, and most of the classes revolve around cases.

Internships Opportunities :

Around 100+ companies visit the campus during placements season. The roles offered are very diverse and they are from various fields. The internship's average stipend is around 80-90k per month. The projects and the outcome of the project cannot be mentioned as I'm still in my first year and I'm yet to complete my internship.

Placement Experience :

The placements on campus are handled by the placement team. The make sure that the placements process goes on hassle-free. The students become eligible for the campus placements from term 1 itself. The placements start in august and go on till February. The companies visiting the campus and the number of offers made cannot be disclosed due to the placement rules of the college. The average package is around 17 lakhs per annum. All the students of the campus get placed during the placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fee is 18 lakhs for 2 years. These fees include tuition fees, mess fees, hostel fees, and exam fees. The fee hike policy is unknown and the PGPM office decides that. But the cost to study can be considered around 20-21 lakhs depending on the lifestyle of the student. The banks in the college provide collateral-free loans and also PGPM office floats a few scholarships to students based on certain criteria.

Campus Life :

Campus life is very exciting. The annual fest of the college is Dhruva, and it is conducted in the month of January. The college also conducts a leadership conclave and Business conclave named Daksha and Nishtha which will be conducted in the month of September and October, respectively. The library consists of all the journals and books with all the necessary applications and software for research. The classrooms are equipped with all the modern amenities with AC, Projector, etc with Harvard classroom design. The sports facilities are extraordinary. The college even has a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The college has around 12 clubs and 13 committees to look after student welfare.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities aren't up to the mark. The meal quality is pathetic. The Hostels are shared by 2 and it makes it very congested. The hostels have an AC, a bunk bed, a study table, a whiteboard, a cupboard, and an almirah. Each floor has a water dispenser and a geyser. The hostels are constantly monitored by security guards and are well-secured. Hostel registration takes place during the registration for the course.

Admission :

The admission process starts with CAT in the month of November. The application form will be available on the CAT website, and the application fee is 2000 rs. The eligibility for the course is 50+% in 10th, 12th, and graduation. I haven't obtained any reservation benefits. The cut-off for the general category students is 92+ percentile overall and 70+ percentile in each section.

Interview Experience :

Due to the pandemic, the GD and WAT weren't conducted for us. The personal interview only was conducted. The Personal Interview greatly revolves around the tell me about yourself; the entire interview depends on how we answer it. Most of the questions revolve around the student's CV, current affairs, hobbies and interests of the student, and questions related to the student's undergraduate. I spent more than one month on the interview preparation. I spent a lot of time on the tell me about yourself and regularly followed the current affairs of the past year. I have revised all the important topics from my undergraduate.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good on this campus. We have had so many big companies to recruit from our college. average salary package to our seniors was around 7-8 LPA. The highest was 16LPA if I remember. Our batch had so many zero selects after the company attended because the election time was nearing and the market was dull. But they will try their maximum to get everyone placed.

Placement Experience:

We are spending so much money to get placed right? so yeah placements are good with 90% of students getting placed. Many companies come and hire students with an average salary of 4.5 lacs. The lowest can go till 2 lacs but unless you are in the college for fun you will not get a such a low salary.

Admission:

No, my admission was based on my entrance exam scores, and they also asked if I had any previous work experience. The entrance exam was difficult to pass; I passed on my second attempt after studying online.

Remarks:

The reason for pursuing MBA program from this college is its tuition fee which is too low. Inspite of low fee, the facilities provided here and the on campus placement record. Post checking the official website I registered myself and filled the application form and paid the application fee firstly. Further, my score in undergraduate and TANCET exam was considered for enrolling me at this college.

Placement Experience:

Around 90% placement is recorded every year in our college. The top recruiters who have tie-up with our college and make a visit for offering job are Zoho, Amazon, HCL, Deloitte,IBM, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance and others as well. Also, they offer handsome packages to the deserving ones. Though I have not been a part of placement drive. I had asked the details from my seniors and they said that the whole placement process is easy to clear. Most importantly, the highest package offered to our seniors was 6 LPA and the average package reached till 3 LPA.

Remarks:

I am very satisfied with the kind of teaching we received, thanks to our esteemed faculty. Course fee is very much budget-friendly and the infrastructure provided is exceptionally good. Library is humongous if not gigantic.

Admission:

The admission process is pretty straight forward. The MBA program offered by the college is a self-financed course and caters to the need of students who fail to appear for any entrance level management test. You have to just fill out the application form, with relevant details and present all the relevant documents.
