Remarks :

Admission is very easy in college. This process will be held in the administration block of this college which is located at the entrance of the college. The application fees costs around RS:750. The eligibility for the course is to get a decent cutoff in our HSE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically, I love the construction field so I have chosen civil engineering. The faculties are well qualified and talented. The teaching was good. They conduct 2 semesters for a year and 8 semesters for the whole course.

Placement Experience :

Panimalar engineering college provides us with a better placement. The average salary package ranges from 3LPA to 4LPA. Many IT companies visit this college every year and hire students for suitable roles. I have planned to start my own business after this course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees for the course may vary based on the management quota and general quota. Management quota fees are around 145000 and general quota fees are around 125000. They provide a reduction in the first graduation of Rs 25000.

Campus Life :

Panimalar engineering college has a very pleasant environment. They maintain the whole campus neat and clean. A huge library was available near the PEC girl's hostel. All amenities are available in the classrooms.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
