Internships Opportunities

They dont provide interships but informs students about oppurtunities with companies.Some of such oppurtunities are Naukri, Wipro, Bavistech and so on, where students engagein various projects. However, the college itself doesnot manage or offer stipends for interships

Placement Experience

Placements begin in the 7th semester. Companies like Zoho with 20 offers, Accenture with 200 offers,Hexaware with 250 offers ,CTS with 200 offers , Infosys with 50 offers and others visit. The highest package is 24LPA(Zoho), with avg packages of 4-6LPA.After completing the course, I plan joining the company

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual Fee = 1,65,000 Semester Fee = 2,500 Total Yearly Fee = 1,65,000+(2,500*2)= 1,70,000 Total 4 year Fee = 1,70,000*4= 6,80,000 Fee Stablility: no increase in fees thoughout the couse duration I am not eligible for Tamilnadu scholarships as i am from another state Additional fees for books and tools = 20,000

Campus Life

Campus life includes a cultural fest and sports day anually. The library offers a wide range of books and journals. Class rooms are equipped with projectors,smart TVs, and AC. Sports include runnig race, khokho, disc throw, throw ball and more. Yhe campus had technical clubs that enhance student involvement

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are well-facilitated and meals are of good quality, with a rating of 4.5/5. The registration process is straight forward, and the hostel fee is 75,000 per year. The locality for rented accommodations or PGs is good, though it depends on the area and rent

Admission

I chose Panimalar Engineering Colleger over the other options primarily due to its flexible curriculam, which allows students to choose their own domains, The campus environment, with its greenery. I joined through Management quota, No particular exams for other state students, where I selected course, discuddes the fee structure and submitted the doccuments

Facutly to student Ratio : 1:15 Faculty Student Relationship : Good, Faculty is approachable during scheduled times Liked Faculty: Suguna: Best, updated and openminded teaches VLSI Jenitha: Appreciates and motivates students Disliked Faculty : some simply read from ppt slides without providing clear explanations course structure: 5 subjects and 2 labs per semester and they differ for all semesters difficulty : 4/5 Failure rate: About 10 to 12 students out of 300 may fail Course Cirriculam : Relevant and includes updated technologies, benificial for personal and professional development

Interview Experience

There were no Group Discussions, Interviewa, or Written Tests for admission. The admission process was based on the marks obtained in 10th and 12th, with a minimum requirement of 60%. There were no specific preparations needed for the admissions process as it was purely based on academic marks

Night Life

The library closes by 3 and the gym is accessible only for hostlers, there is no cafeteria. Hostel students reach their rooms before 3.30 pm and are not allowed to leave without parent or elder's consent. There are no specific hangout places since students are restricted from roaminf around at night. The structure shapes a more focused and sisciplined campus life

In my college, on campus placement opportunitiesd for core biotechnology and life science fields were quite limited, While there were placement drives conducted during the final year, the majority of companies that visited were from IT, customer support, and non-core sectors, which weren't directly relevant to the field of biotechnology.
