Remarks :

Based on JEE main entrance exam. You can refer to JOSSA counselling for more information. I got it during 5th round of counselling. Every year the process is same. There are reservation benefits for sc ,st ,obc ,ews sice it is the national level enterance exam. The admission process is very smooth and easy through iris portal developed by the studends of our own institute. iris is integreted platform for all the processes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Some of the new faculty (mostly phd students) are not very good, but all other professors are excellent in there respective field and are very intelligent , well qualified, very helpful and also support students in research field. We have regular classes, premium quality labs ensure amazing educational experience. The course curriculum is relevent and useful.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

I am from general category student. For me there was no fee remission . I did not apply for any scholarship, because I did not need it . Our campus placement is very good it was 97% overall for UG students.

Campus Life :

There are two fest one is Engineer's ,a technical fest and incident a cultural fest ,which is one of the largest fest in south india . Libary is very good, excellent infrastructure. There are many special clubs.

Hostel Facilities :

There are many hostels and enough accomadation for everyone. Mess food is not that good ,but there are many canteens and cafeteria's . Registeration process is easy through iris .Its affordable and most of students opt for it.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
