Remarks :

I was admitted to IIIT Lucknow because of my high GATE score. The admissions process was relatively easy, and I was admitted quickly due to my high score. I chose the course because I've had a strong interest in the subject since I finished my bachelor's degree. This college has an excellent competitive educational culture, which is essential for any career in software development. Furthermore, at this institution, we have two credits for competitive education quality in each semester. As a result of many factors, placements are also high.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college curriculum is excellent and interactive. Case study teaching methods are well-aligned with real-world scenarios. The curriculum adheres to all current industry guidelines and international standards. The college's faculty is highly knowledgeable and skilled in their respective fields. The faculty not only have PhDs, but they also have extensive research experience from top universities in India and abroad. The college faculty properly understands the syllabus, and the faculty's teaching methods are very easy and simple, so that every concept is easily cleared to us.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship programme at the college is excellent. We are eligible for an apprenticeship after finishing the first year of our programme, and we must register with the college placement committee in order to participate in the internship programme.

Placement Experience :

The college has a perfect placement rate. The college placement council is extremely helpful and guides us through the placement process. The committee is capable of attracting a large number of high-quality companies for placement. Our batch's highest package was around 38 LPA, and our batch's average package was around 15.50 LPA. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Oracle, Tech Mahindra, and Samsung India all came to our campus for a placement drive.

Campus Life :

The college's campus life is excellent. The college organizes competitions such as debates, quizzes, arts, and drama. Equinox is the name given to the college's annual technical festival. The college has two badminton courts, one football field, and numerous indoor games facilities, making it ideal for sports enthusiasts. The library has several books from across the world, as well as international journals. The college's labs are outfitted with cutting-edge technology. The classrooms are large and open.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel's infrastructure is in excellent condition. The rooms are very large and have basic amenities such as beds, study tables, and almirahs. The hostel mess food is excellent, and the menu is extensive. Water and electricity are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the hostel. The hostel wardens and staff are extremely helpful. The hostel decorum is very well kept. The hostel provides us with a wide range of amenities.

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

Placements of IITK are very good. Even during recession the average package was 15lpa. Highest package was 60lpa and lowest was 12lpa. If someone is not getting placed then professors help in their own domain. After degree, I am planning to work in a product based company after degree.

Campus Placements are great, there is a market slowdown but most(70%) of them from mtech got placed this year and still the placements are going on. Other than that you will have internship opportunities from the college or as well as outside the campus as well. From the last two years, 6-month internship is provided to mtech as well.

Remarks:

The one thing which is deteriorating the Masters level education in India is the double-mindedness of most of the GATE aspirants. Those with lower ranks join institutes of national importance such as ours just for the sake of the monthly stipend and the time they would get for GATE preparation. Such students waste the opportunity for someone else who is really interested in research, but could not get there due to low GATE score. It is high time that we prioritize our needs and act accordingly; it can only boost the research temperament among the student community.
