Remarks

JNU is a premier institute in India. It is one of the best universities to pursue research in the country in both sciences and social sciences. The admission process is smooth and hassle-free. Hostel allotment takes time though.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is easy to pass at JNU but it is tough to score good grades. Term exams are on time and the course is structured in a systematic manner with several assignments around the year. A student gets assessed accordingly at different levels.

Internships Opportunities

There are several IT companies that come to the campus. In both sciences and social sciences several projects under CSIR and ICSSR respectively are conducted by the professors. These projects regularly come under the JNU notice board in which interested students can participate.

Placement Experience

Masters students of subjects such as economics, and computers get placed along with the engineering and management students. There are several internship opportunities inside as well as outside the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

UGC NET JRF is the scholarship that I have applied for. However, this is a scholarship from the central government and not from the institute. The institute provides merit cum means scholarships to students from weaker economic backgrounds.

Campus Life

There are several student clubs, sports clubs as well as student political associations in the university. Dance clubs, art clubs, NSS and many more. Students can affiliate himself or themselves with any club of their choice.

Hostel Facilities

JNU has several hostels. The hostels that have been constructed recently have better infrastructure than the older ones. Food quality however is really very good. The food menu is decided to keep in mind the various geographical regions from which students come here from across the country.

Hostel Fee: INR 120 per year

Interview Experience

There was an online entrance test based on the subject. Next, there was an interview related to the research proposal submitted for a PhD. I had to study extensively and prepare all the topics given for the entrance syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as very relative event and fairly comprehensive. The subject are well instructed and cover all the important concept required for both academic understanding and face application topic are updated. According to current dentistry stands which make the curriculum useful for real-world situation over all the balance between theory and practical knowledge is good and the syllabus is neither to have Noor to outdated. I would rate to the curriculum 8 out of 10 for relevance and compressivensess

IIH(Formerly NMI)- One of a kind in India

Likes

Accessible research guide- The supervisors are very accessible to students. The institute students can also avail libraries both at NMI, now IIH and national museum library. The institute has world class faculty and facilities

Dislikes

The new campus of the institute is now at Noida sector 62, which is very far from the center of the city and students are now very far from the National museum as well, where they used to study experientially and are now devoid of it............

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institute is one of a kind and offers world class facilities. In Museology, it is the top tier in India. In the institute, we get opportunities to network with eminenent scholars of the field and it also has an exchange program with university of Birmingham.

Likes

From education perspective,the campus is unparalleled to any campus of India
The environment of self study of students in library is just awesome
The foods are awesome with so many dhanas and guest house

Dislikes

The students politics is not going at good pace
Social injustice could be seen in the fee structure
The infrastructure of hostel is not up to the mark which dwindled recently

Professors are good and very supportive in nature. They have in depth knowledge of subject. The course curriculum is well structured aligned with students comfort. The professors are erudite. The term exams took place timely and it was not so tough to pass as questions were from the classroom

Placement Experience:

The plans is afrer the getting the degree i want to become a sucsses guy in the world. The highest and average packave as per companh and profile offerd is 10 lack annual. Some company i viseted but there is not getting any offerd wich is not good but now i have got the job in best company and i like.

Remarks:

JNU always encourages knowledge to be flourished even in the darkest time. The professors are the ones who support their students completely in any kind of distress. It is an amazing experience altogether for someone being a part of JNU.

Entrance Preview:

I didn't pass entrance exam,it was interview. For foreigners there is no any entrance exam. But the procedure of interview and the following structure is so difficult to pass out from the procedure . For indian students there is an entrance exam which you should ask from the indian student of lamia itself.

Remarks:

College management is not good, good thing about college is located in prime location in new delhi everything is very nearer to the campus. bad thing is that, less green spaces, pollution, noise pollution due to traffic around the campus.

Enjoy the most radical and inclusive campus

Remarks:

Its a excellent place for studies and do good research. But jnu authority must think about the infrastructure development, particularly in the hostels. There is no internet facilities in the hostels.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru University

I applied for delhi University but it's free. Structure is quite high as compares to JNU.Jnu is affordable for students and provide huge campus with lots of opportunity and placements. The reason to choose the college over others was its NIRF ranking. It provides a good environment for social interaction. As the ratio of boys to girls is good.
