Course Curriculum Overview :

I have always wanted to opt for higher studies and want to pursue my Ph.D. degree. And therefore I took this course. The faculty-student ratio is 3:1. The faculties are friendly and are always available to help you out by providing solutions to any kind of problem. All faculties are highly qualified with a minimum master's degree in technology. There are three exams in a semester. two internals and end semester exam.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 1000000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college management is very friendly and therefore there is no such fee hike. For underprivileged and students who belong to financial backward classes are provided with financial assistance. I have got a job on campus with a stipend of 20 thousand per month

Campus Life :

Heritage Utsav is the name of the annual fest and tech fest and is conducted in March every year. The library is filled with an ample amount of books and journals. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned. In a year there are many sports and extracurricular activities that happen on our campus like football, cricket tournaments, music, and dance competitions. Also, there are social clubs like music clubs, dance clubs, and sports club

For master's, campus placement is less compared to bachelor's courses, Company visited less in numbers, but still, 30 - 40 percent of students get placed, some went for Ph.D. in IIT, and some got placed off campus. On-campus placement average package is around 4 lacs.

Before joining Mtech in Computer Science and Data Processing (Mathematics department) in IIT Kharagpur I completed M.Sc in Mathematics from IIT Madras. At that time wanted to go for industry jobs so I decided to pursue M.Tech course related to computer science. Specifically, I am interested in Machine learning and statistical data analysis. That time I had two options either IIT Madras (Mtech in Industrial mathematics and scientific computing) or IIT Kharagpur (Mtech in CSDP). I preferred IIT Kgp and joined it.

I take WBJEE entrance exam for entrance in BE and gate for ME. I score 107 in WBJEE and 2047 in GATE . Jadavpur university(ju)is best institution in west bengal.

Placement Experience:
