Remarks :

Admission process was simple you have to fill the form available on the university site, generally releases in june/July. Eligibility for the course is b.sc./ btech food science/ food technology/ agriculture/ food science and nutrition/ home science/ food science and quality control/ biochemistry/ biotechnology/ clinical nutrition/ microbiology. Mathematics at +1/ +2 level is compulsory. The admission will be based on marks obtained in entrance exam. Fees for MSC food technology are 23018+3200(examination fee) per year. Sc reserve 15% of seats and st reserves 7.5% of seats. Total seats are 22-23. Centres for the entrance exam will be in different states which you

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is interesting to learn more opportunities will come in future. There are 6 skilled faculty teachers. Their teaching method is good depending on the individual teacher. Exams conduct in 2 year course. Internal tests and assignments marks will also be included. Internal marks are out of 40 for both practical and theory. External exams will be out of 60. The exams are easy to pass but you have to study of course.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships will be offered based on exams or on interviews. Fssai gives many opportunities for internship, other than that every big manufacturing companies like mother dairy, Bikaner, nestle etc. provide internship for 1-2 student. Department will also help you to get an internship.

Placement Experience :

From the 3rd or 4th semester, students are eligible for placement. Placements are not that much expected but you can get a chance from outside the university. I want to do PhD in this course in future. For a job in this field, you have to be trained first so internship and lab works are important.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are justified according to the course. The fee per year is 23018 which has to pay in the first semester and in the even semester 3200 have to pay. There are many scholarships available at the university. Merit and merit cum scholarship, sc/st scholarship etc..* the fee structure will be given in the brochure.

Campus Life :

There is pondicherry University page on Instagram. there are many fests conducted in universities, culture fests, heritage festivals, and society fests. Due to covid, these fests were not there but it is generally conducted in Feb/March. There are different sports you can participate in.

Placement Experience:

Everyone for eligible and many companies is available for campus placement. Integra, TCS online apply etc. Only I know 4.5L highest package. 80 % of students are working in good companies.

Pondicherry - A Relaxing University Experience

Remarks:

The campus and infrastructure is really good, it is a very beautiful campus with it's own beach Richt opposite the University Gate 2. Auroville is closeby and vehicles are allowed in campus.

A central university that exceeds your expectations

Remarks:

Student queries can be addressed in a more organized and transparent way. The management and other staff could work responsibly. The hardworking students can be recognized better. Shuttle service can be improved. Bicycles should be available in the campus. As the university is too vast, it's almost impossible without a vehicle. Hostel and good can be better, because we are literally have no option rather than choosing it. Though students are okay to spend more money for better services.

Remarks:

The college facilities is Average in my opinion. The faculty and academics and lab facilities are good. But every coin has two different sides. Being an off campus we are neglected by the main campus and don't get many facilities we are paying for.

Remarks:

Overall rating of our university would be good as it is a central university. Job opportunities are also colourful here. The grade of teaching varies from department to department. But our department is awesome. The only problem here is mess food. You get bored having same food everyday although they try to accommodate a versatile menu throughout the week.
