Remarks :

The university is a well-known central university in India .It provides so many courses across different schools.

Entrance Preview :

I passed entrance exam conducted by Pondicherry university.I got 35 rank and got admission in general category

Course Curriculum Overview :

The university follows a choice based credit semester system. you need to select electives from any departments. In a choice-based credit semester system, your mark is compared with the topper in your class and mark, grade, etc are given according to it.

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunities are not so good.Only some departments like school of management gives good placements.since I am first year here I am not well aware of all of those placement activities and companies.

College Events :

There are so many programs conducted by various departments.Department of management conducts inspire.department of commerce conducts vanicom.There are some programs conducted by the malayali students community.There will be some programs in almost all weekends.like pick etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible because it is a central university.The hostel rent is free for girls and differently able. mess fees is according to the market rate .We have to remit that at the starting of semester.Course fee is cheaper because it is a central university.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships provided by the university and central government.merit cum means,post metric,university merit etc likewise so many scholarships are available

Campus Life :

The campus life is very good here .The gender ratio is near to 50:50.There will be so many completions and sports programs conducted by the various departments and student union.There will be programs on almost all weekends.There is no discrimination here.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 21 hostels in the campus.There are some under construction phase.Local people will not get hostel facility.Hostel rooms are on sharing basis .There will be two or three in a room.Recreation halls are available for students who didn't get rooms.The hostel rent is 900 pa.hostel rent is free for girls

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

I don't know much about alumni network. Even though various departments conducts alumni meets and interact with the students.University have alumni all over the world

Exam Structure :

There will be internal and external exams.external exams will be conducted at the end of semester.Internal evaluation is done by the faculties itself.Internal mark is out of 40 and external mark is out of 60 .Total 100.

Admission :

The university will issue admission notification on its official website. All the process is online.you can avail the prospectus from the website pondiuni.edu.in.all the course details fee structure number of seats etc will be available in it. You can get it once university issue notification for admission

Faculty :

All the faculties are well qualified .All of them have doctorates.some subjects have guest lecturers.some of them are not very good.there are some PhD scholars under each faculties.

Placement Experience:

Everyone for eligible and many companies is available for campus placement. Integra, TCS online apply etc. Only I know 4.5L highest package. 80 % of students are working in good companies.

Pondicherry - A Relaxing University Experience

Remarks:

The campus and infrastructure is really good, it is a very beautiful campus with it's own beach Richt opposite the University Gate 2. Auroville is closeby and vehicles are allowed in campus.

A central university that exceeds your expectations

Remarks:

Student queries can be addressed in a more organized and transparent way. The management and other staff could work responsibly. The hardworking students can be recognized better. Shuttle service can be improved. Bicycles should be available in the campus. As the university is too vast, it's almost impossible without a vehicle. Hostel and good can be better, because we are literally have no option rather than choosing it. Though students are okay to spend more money for better services.

Remarks:

The college facilities is Average in my opinion. The faculty and academics and lab facilities are good. But every coin has two different sides. Being an off campus we are neglected by the main campus and don't get many facilities we are paying for.

Remarks:

Overall rating of our university would be good as it is a central university. Job opportunities are also colourful here. The grade of teaching varies from department to department. But our department is awesome. The only problem here is mess food. You get bored having same food everyday although they try to accommodate a versatile menu throughout the week.
