Experience from the iisc bangalore

Remarks :

I had taken and passed the University IISc admission exams. I had passed all the exams which were needed to clear the eligibility of this University. I had made my mind and had discussed with the family to take admission here. I did not apply to any other institute because I solely intended to get my PhD at this institute and I got good guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I found something really unique I would not get in any of the other Institution and at any other college in the country. This course curriculum is heavily focused on research. I had to have a broad range of options when it comes to selecting the courses that interest me. So as per my interest I started selecting the subject and got some really good list.

Placement Experience :

According to what I've seen, ME members received offers ranging from 12 to 24 lakhs per annum. We always tried to seek experience in this University and that helped us to increase our CTC and it went high up to 22 LPA. I had seen a placement rate of very close around 80% which was amazing and companies were ITC, Nestle, Axa rtc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I was paying a annual fee of the 90000 whereas I was also spending the some amount for my stationary actions need. I had also some other University based expenses but they were easily adjusted in this amount. I didn't find any of the scholarship for the applicants support in the University so I went for a loan here.

Campus Life :

We do have a variety of social groups, clubs, travel clubs, sports organisations, fashion club owners, art clubs, and student organisations with a variety of interests that involve both personal and public benefit. Some of them even enter tournaments with open challenges. The University library was also very resourceful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have the best faculty with extreme expertise but a few are irregular and careless about the students. The ones who take class do it really well. The class strength had quite an impact over the classes but still was good.

The entire application process for admissions is paperless and online in keeping with the University’s commitment to sustainability. The Application form has be filled in entirety and be submitted along with the Statement of Purpose (SoP) and the documents mentioned therein.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

One feels the fee structure is a bit high. But it's quite reasonable as compared to the other B-school. The only good thing is that Manasagagotri has good placement assistance Manasagagotri has good. My overall expenditure was around 1.5 lakhs for two years.

Entrance Preview:

I qualified CSIR-NET, GATE and IISC entrance exam to get through this college. There are two rounds of interview once you've cracked one of the above mentioned exams and you're through in the interview list.

Admission:

Cleared IISc's entrance test and got the interview call. There are two rounds of interview. In the first panel they ask for the basics related to atmospheric, geophysical and oceanic sciences. And in the final round of interview they mostly ask questions related to your master's thesis and the kind of work you're going to opt for your Ph.D.
