IIT Ropar

Remarks :

I chose IIT Ropar because, first and foremost, it is an IIT, the college has high placement criteria, the faculty is well-known for its research. To select the college that best meets my needs and preferences, I had to work really hard to pass the GATE exam and fulfil the college's cutoff criteria, as I had also earned a minimum of 60% in my bachelor's degree. I need to enrol for COAP counselling after passing the GATE exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college's curriculum adheres to international standards. We have plenty of chances for research and project work at the college. The programme focuses on our total personality development as well as academic development. The curriculum assists us in comprehending the significance of coding in today's technology world.

Placement Experience :

CSE students will be well-placed at the college. The college boasts a 100% placement rate. The college committee is extremely dedicated and helpful, guiding us through the placement rounds and ensuring that we are placed according to our preferences. Our batch's maximum package offer was 28-30 LPA, while the average package was roughly 17 LPA. During the college placement drive, companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Zomato, Linux World Informatics, NASDAQ, Linkbal Japan, Tesco, and Yokogawa Electric Corporation Japan visited our campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The per year fee for the course is 40,000/- which seemed pretty affordable for me. However, the college still offers merit-based scholarships as well as scholarships for reserved categories. Scholarships are available through the college's five scholarship programmes. You may learn more about the scholarship programme and eligibility criteria by visiting the college's official website and campus.

Campus Life :

The atmosphere on campus is quite relaxing. The college hosts events such as ADVITIYA, a college technical fest where we can display our project work and innovative ideas in the field of technology, ZEITGEIST, a college cultural fest, and AAROHAN, a college sports fest. Many academic and non-academic books from all over the world are available at the college library. The library can also provide us with worldwide research journals. The classrooms are kept in good condition and are appropriately ventilated. For our project and study, the laboratories are equipped with a wide range of contemporary tools and equipment.
