Remarks :

My JEE score was not so good but I was looking for a college with a low crowd and good faculty ratio and good quality of faculty. NIT Mizoram was the perfect pick for me. One has to pass JEE exam and have to secure 65% in 10+2 to be part of NIT Mizoram. I cleared my JEE and my 10+2 score was around 68% so during my JOSAA counselling I was able to secure my seat in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college was the latest and follows all types of industrial developments. The college curriculum covers all kinds of engineering topics deeply and clearly. The faculty ratio is 1:9. The interaction with faculty during the class is very much and the faculty makes sure that everyone is able to understand the concepts deadly. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhD program with good research work activity.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 137000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college is decent but the placement quality of the college is good. The college placement committee member is quite professional and works very hard to invite good companies for the placement and they also guide us during the college placement round. The highest salary offer of the college was around 16 LPA and the average salary offer is around 10 LPA. We see more increase in the salary offers of the college as the placement committee and the college management is working together to improve the placement quality of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The college does not have any individual scholarships at the moment but one can avail of the education loan facility. State and central government-funded scholarship programs are also available. The college complete fee is around 5.50 lakh and the college average placement offer is around 10 LPA which good ROI in comparison to the college fee.

Campus Life :

The college campus life s good. The seniors of the college are quite cooperative and friendly. The college also follows the no-ragging policy very strictly. The college classrooms are very good. The college campus is very well designed. The college library has many books collections and we can find many academic and non-academic books also. The college has different labs for each department. The college staff is quite professional too.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is very good. The hostel infrastructure is very well developed. The rooms are properly cleaned and fully furnished. The hostel has all kinds of facilities for us. The hostel mess food quality is good and the food is cooked in a very hygienic environment. The hostel wardens are quite cooperative and professional too. The hostel discipline is very well maintained. The hostel security is also very good.

Placement Experience:

We get the companies in the campus in the seventh semester srarting of August and the placements are good. This years highest package till now we got is 39lacs and the average is avove 8lacs and the last year we have 100 percent placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. But , the faculty is not good. The benefits is you can prepare for another exam if you want. You get lots of free time to do prepare for whatever you want. If you want to prepare for gate then you can get lots of free time.

Placement Experience:

Regarding the placements, the eligibility starts from the third year ( 5th Semester). Many companies select certain students through tests and then interviews. The top recruiters are Wipro Infosys TCS offering a median package of 4 Lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is 60-75%. After getting the degree, I plan to give the GATE exam and my state PSC for job purposes.

Its a good one

Remarks:

Well i m pretty neutral. Its not bad but its not good either. Overall its stretching its limits to perform. Due to lack of campus most of the facilities are scattered all over. Plus the location is highly backward in terms of development.
