Remarks :

IIT Hyderabad is the 2nd generation IIT developed by the government of India. It aims at working and developing research methods in the field of science and technology. During the counseling session after JEE advance, I got admission in this institute. One needs to clear the 12th standard with 75% as well along with JEE advanced to get a seat in IIT. Admission fee and form submission need to be done online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I found the course curriculum quite interesting and intriguing in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Our practical knowledge is tested in the assignments and projects given to us and how well we perform in them since there is a lot of scope of research in artificial intelligence. Professors teach us very well by using some of the great teaching methods and adopting their own techniques.

Course Fees : INR 237000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements of an IIT are loved by everyone and when talking about the job offers in engineering, IIT provides ample opportunities for its students. In the former batch, 70% of the students got placed. The highest CTC that was offered to the most deserving candidate was Rs. 60 LPA. MTX, Microsoft, Rakuten, Accenture Japan, TSMC, Amazon, DG Takano, Flipkart, Indeed, Zomato were some of the recruiters who participated in the placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A lot of students in my class availed the scholarships provided by the institute to cover the total cost of Rs. 8.88 lakhs for the entire course. Following are the scholarships available: SC/ST Scholarship, Merit Cum Means Scholarship, Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students, and many others. Requirements of each one of them are different. The reward for these scholarships was given in terms of the concession of tuition fee.

Campus Life :

Life has been a roller coaster ride here. It took me quite some months to settle here at the campus and be habitual to the language and food. The events organized at the campus were quite fun and interesting. Due to covid, our campus life got half spent in attending online classes. The scitech council arranges some awesome and engaging sessions for its members and other students.

From 7th semesters companies start visiting the college and student can get very good placemets after they pass the interview processes. Remarks:

On my personal experience, I would say that college is very strict and they have closed gate that is not accpectable. Even they will not permit you to leave the campus without the permission from the required faculty.
