Remarks :

For cse branch jee rank approximately below 1000 is required. The application form can be found on iiith official website, and for dates, one needs to stay updated after the declaration of jee main exam. There is a 25% reservation scheme for girls available in the admission. The admission process is carried out in 4 rounds and is very smooth. According to me, no improvement is required in it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are very good courses in terms of curriculum, average package, internship opportunities, reputation, etc. There are a lot of faculties, with some courses having more than 1 faculty. Faculties are highly qualified and their teaching method is up to the mark. Exams are held regularly (weekly quizzes are held in almost every course), with a midsem and an endsem exam.

Internships Opportunities :

Sprinklr, GS, tower, adobe, salesforces, Qualcomm, Deshaw, google, Facebook, Apple, Flipkart, amazon, ola, uber, and many more startups provide internship opportunities and give a decent stipend. Quants, frontend developers, backend developers, full-stack developers, app developers, and many other roles are offered.

Placement Experience :

4th-year students become eligible for placements. Many reputed companies visit campus for placements like google, amazon, apple, Microsoft, GS, etc. The highest package goes up to 60 lakhs and avg. Is almost 25 lakhs. Almost 100% of students get placed. My plan after getting a degree is simple, I prefer to do the job in a company I get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The approximate cost for 4-year course is 15 lakh as per the year 2020. The fee hike is a maximum of 10% per year. There are not many scholarship opportunities available as far as I know. But sbi bank on campus provides easy loans without much documentation and 0 collateral. Also, if someone has a problem in availing loan through a bank, there are alumni funds which are maintained by alumni and after an interview with you, they can pay your fees which you are supposed to pay later by paying some other student's fees when you become alumni.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is called felicity. It includes sports, cultural events, talent shows, tech events and is very fun to be part of. It is conducted in February every year. There are huge amounts of books available in the library. Classrooms are spacious and have wifi facilities and are air-conditioned with projector screening available. Almost all the well-known sports are played including cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, carrom, chess, badminton, kho kho, kabaddi, etc. Clubs include chess club, dance crew, lit club, debsoc, music club, humor club among the highly active ones. There are many more clubs besides this.

Hostel Facilities :

The room has a personal LAN for students. Cleaning is done every week. Washrooms are neat and clean. 4 meals a day are provided by mess. There are 4 messes on campus and one can go to any mess for any meal. Washing machines are also there on every floor. There is no registration process required for hostel separately.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Remarks:

On my personal experience, I would say that college is very strict and they have closed gate that is not accpectable. Even they will not permit you to leave the campus without the permission from the required faculty.
