Remarks :

IIT Gandhinagar, Gujurat situated at the bank of Sabarmati is rated India's first 5-star GRIHA LD (Green) campus. That reason is more than enough to be part of such a prestigious college and it is an IIT brand and we all know what IIT stands for. The candidate is selected based on the entrance exam of IIT Gandhinagar and a minimum of 50% marks (50% for SC/ST students) at the undergraduate level followed by GD and PI round. But if candidate has cleared GATE and has good academic records then you are given direct entry and you are also eligible for scholarship if you are on merit.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is very diverse. It not only covers all your concepts of engineering but you are also given full freedom to take extra courses according to your interest level. the curriculum of the college main aim is to prepare you for your last job, not the first job that helps as in our overall personality development.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 210000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college committee cell is very cooperative and they will help you to find companies for internships. Companies like ford, Deshaw, Google, Barclays, are the part of the internship program. Stipend depends on company to company. The stipend is between the range of Rs 5000 to Rs 85,000/-

Placement Experience :

IITs are very popular for their placement record and IIT Gandhinagar is not behind. The college placement record is 100% and the placement committee left no stone unturned to help you out for placement. The campus is visited by companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, ITC, Barclays. The highest salary package was 34 LPA and the lowest was 7 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides scholarships for SC/ST students under various programs. Students are also provided with financial assistance according to their merit scores. Students that perform well in sports, studies and various competitions are also provided scholarships.

Campus Life :

The campus is awesome and surrounded by greeneries the view around the campus is very soothing to your eyes. There are many sports events and fest in the college that gives you an opportunity to give your contribution. Its cultural fest named Blithex celebrates the festive season of India. The campus life of IIT Gandhinagar is very happening and interesting.

Hostel Facilities :

IIT Gandhinagar is has been declared India's first 5-star campus to ensure food safety and healthy eating so it tells a lot about the kind of food that you are served in the mess. The quality of food is of the highest standards. The rooms are very clean and the outside river view of your windows is just beyond the explanation. AT this price point of view all the facilities and comfort for students is worth the money.

Hostel Fee : INR 12000 per year

Faculty :

The faculties of the colleges are of the highest standards their teaching methods are unique that hook you in the class. The teachers are actively involved in over development of your academics and motivate you to take part in extra-curricular activities. The best part is faculty do not stick to old ways of teaching they are given full freedom to design the course in such a way that every concept is made clear for students.

We all know about the placement of IITs. The IITs provide one of the best placements and IIT Gandhinagar is also not behind. The placement record of the college is 100%. The placement committee is very helpful and supportive. The placement cell guides us throughout our placement process and makes sure that we get placed according to our program and interest. the highest package for our batch was around 34 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA. Companies like Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Siemens, L&T, Essar, Cipla, Tata Motors, etc visited the campus during the placement drive of the college.
