CEPT University Scholarship
The University offers several scholarships for meritorious candidates. University holds the right to reject the scholarship application, in case of the absence of any required supporting documents to be submitted by the applicant. The Scholarship will be announced along with your Admission Offer Letter; however, the amount will be disbursed after one month from the beginning of the semester/lectures.
The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means cum Merit)
This scholarship is awarded to the students securing top merit rank in the merit list as per the University Scholarship Policy. Candidates are required to submit the online scholarship application along with the admissions application form. The applicant must submit it along with the admissions application form and the eligible applicant get to know the assured scholarship amount along with the admissions offer letter. This scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver. The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means based) is to be availed by the students who fulfill the eligibility criteria. In the year 2023-24, 153 students received Pre Admissions Scholarship, marking a significant achievement in fostering educational opportunities. Mentioned below is the eligibility criteria:

Life at CEPT University
- Library: CEPT Library Services is responsible for the maintenance of the Lilavati Lalbhai Library and all of the resources it contains. It also supports faculty members and students in enriching the teaching, learning and research experience at the University. The institute provides E-Learning resources with online access to the students.

CEPT University Cutoffs
Admission to the B.Arch program at CEPT University happens through the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and the University’s own entrance test.
NATA 2023 Cutoffs
To qualify, candidates must have a minimum score of 40% of the total marks in NATA 2023. (that is 70 0ut of 200 marks). - Great food options. there are total two canteens, one which serves chinese and mess food. second one which serves fruits and fruit juices

- The hostel facilities can be improved and they are improving as we speak so it may not be a concern in a few months.
- Ac in studios as it can be very humid in ahmedabad which leads to students having heatstrokes

The admission process is very simple. you need to give the uceed exam, and apply in the cept portal. as and when your name comes on the list, they will personally email you the offer letter. the admissionis based on your rank. the rank is good, you can apply for merit scholarships too.

- I liked the inclusive nature of the campus, with everyone being really open minded.
- There is always something going on on campus- be it an exhibition, a cultural night, the band playing music or just a screening of a movie.
Dislikes
- It is a very high pressure institute with a lot of work demand. So, sometimes, a work life balance is missing.
- There is little to no time to pursue extra curriculars.
Admission:
For the design students, the entrance was based on uceed scores. A merit list was made based on these scores and admission was given in that order. For the architecture and planning departments, it was based on nata and jee was required for the faculty of technology.
Admission:
The course I pursued is a bachelor's in the interior. But from now it's changed to a bachelor's in design which is a bigger window of the design field and it's eligible for all 12th-grade students from any stream. UCEED is compulsory for all design students. Application forms, fees, and dates its available on the Cept University website. All quota reservations like ST SC OBC is an available and 50 percent ACPC for Gujarat students. Cept is improving daily as cept has TLC members who take care of academics, and a student council who forward the problems from the GB to the cept council. And a lot of people manage campus curricula and management. The fees, it's high because of the infrastructure, full-time college, and the facility for the students. The new program bdes which is a bachelor in Design and communication design. I just finished the last year of my college it was a great experience and journey.

- There is need for equity in distribution of studio spaces, most of the campus is air conditioned but many of studio spaces doesn't share equal privileges, lack of transparency in allotment of spaces.
Admission:
For master in housing design eligibility specified on the CEPT admissions website, it is a bachelor of architecture with 55% per cent while for the reserved category, it is 50%. the application form is an online process, one has to visit the Cept admission portal and log in there, further follow the procedure. the admission process is very smooth and easy to follow.

Admission:
The course is only eligible for planners, architects, and civil engineers. I found out about it through the CEPT website and got the required details by connecting to CEPT admission. The first shortlisting was done based on the experience + marks achieved in (10+12) and graduate + SOP submitted + exam. The shortlisted students were then called for interview and writing and final shortlisting was done. There was a sufficient buffer and time in the process to think and decide on the course. The student can opt for 2 courses as well. But I wanted to join only transport.

- Campus facilities and infrastructure are of good standard.
- Winter and summer exhibitions invite more people from outside to campus and provide opportunities for both students and management to showcase the high quality works.

- The hostel facilities require improvement

The admission process was online and was three steps, one was shortlisting based on your documents, the second was a general aptitude exam, and the last was course specific exam. The student has to pass all three to get in.

The admission process for the following course - Masters in Architectural History and Research was quite interesting in my opinion. For eligibility for the course to get an M.Arch degree, one should have a minimum bachelor's degree in Architecture with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks; while for the M.A degree, an undergraduate degree in civil, construction, planning, landscape and archaeology with 55% aggregate marks. One can go to the cept official website: cept.ac.in for the admission procedure as well as our Instagram handle: cept_ahr For the application process, one can look over the application requirements on the website itself where they mention in detail what in specific one has to submit.

Admission:
Admission is through a NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) exam. You have to qualify for that exam to be eligible for admission. Students must have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics streams. Your HSC score and NATA score will be considered on a 50:50 basis, where a merit list will be prepared and your rank will be decided accordingly. There was no reservation system during my time.
Admission:
In my opinion, there should be an entrance exam from the university side and not just common entrance so that students who didn't perform well in their 12th or common entrance can prove their excellence in the exam of the field which they want to get in.
CEPT University Scholarship 2024
Scholarship provided by the college.
The University offers several scholarships for meritorious candidates. University holds the right to reject the scholarship application, in case of the absence of any required supporting documents to be submitted by the applicant. The Scholarship will be announced along with your Admission Offer Letter; however, the amount will be disbursed after one month from the beginning of the semester/lectures.
The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means cum Merit)
This scholarship is awarded to the students securing top merit rank in the merit list as per the University Scholarship Policy. 153 students received Pre Admissions Scholarship, providing financial support to the deserving candidates. Candidates are required to submit the online scholarship application with the admissions application form. The applicant must submit it along with the admissions application form and the eligible applicant get to know the assured scholarship amount along with the admissions offer letter. This scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver. The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means based) is to be availed by the students who fulfill the eligibility criteria. Mentioned below is the eligibility criteria:
Eligibility criteria:
- Candidates with a family income less than INR 10 lacs per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Recipients of the scholarship will continue to receive the scholarship for the full duration of the program, subject to maintaining the minimum result as per the scholarship offer letter.
Work-Based Scholarships:
Students are encouraged to take up these assistantships to give hands-on experience and develop skills beyond classroom study. It involves them helping faculty in research, and teaching activities or taking up the given work in the different University offices including libraries, archives, laboratories, workshops, and student services. Requirements for the same are put up by the concerned depts. and payment is calculated on an hourly basis.

- List of Immovable Properties and Investments owned by the family along with Approx. Market Value as on 31.3.2022. (Format available in the scholarship form)
- Copy of Bank statement from January 2022 to till date.
- Students undertaking that they are not recipients of any other government/private scholarships or grants or benefits. (Format available in the scholarship form)
- Income declaration by parents/guardians, stating definite income as per the Income tax return Financial Year 2022-23 from all sources by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.50 is required. (Format available in the scholarship form)
- Copy of Bank passbook or blank crossed cheque of the bank (Account must be in the name of the student applying for Scholarship).
- Educational Expenses of other siblings and any Government/Other help. (Format available in the scholarship form)
- Receipt of Fee payment of the last semester attended at the last School/College/University.

Candidates shall have passed a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B. Arch) or equivalent recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for general category candidates and 50% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates. There is no minimum marks criteria in Class 12th for admissions to B.Arch. You need to have a score in JEE Mains or NATA. After which, on the basis of your score in CEPT entrance exam, you will get admission to B.Arch.
