NMIMS Review

Remarks :

I took the NMAT exam and received a score of 233. The cut off for the years 21-23 was 235 and the individual cut off for each set was 76. Shortlisted students went through WAT/PI. Out of 1200 students, 580 were selected for the year 21-23. On the official website of NMIMS, all required details of the application are provided. I did not avail of any reservation benefits. The procedure is satisfactory and does not require enhancements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

MBA Pharma was my choice. For both the years, the faculty: student ratio is 1:20. Doctorate degrees are held by the majority of faculties in respective fields. Few of them are industry specialists. In two years, we have 6 semesters and all of them include exams. Exams are of moderate difficulty

Internships Opportunities :

Many big pharma companies like GSK, Zeus, Novartis, Cipla come for placements. They provide internships and give PPO too. Projects are about marketing, consulting, sales and operations. The stipend varies between 10,000-50,000/-

Placement Experience :

A plethora of internships are available. 100% Placements are guaranteed. The stipend varies between 10,000-50,000/- Market research, sales, marketing, and other positions are available. The campus is visited by the same companies as the final ones

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for our batch is 6Lakhs per annum. Although the fee is higher than traditional universities it may be offset by attractive compensation packages from employers. The fee is doubled every year but you can get a bank loan easily. There are scholarships for students whose family income is less than 8 Lakhs per annum.

Campus Life :

I have not been to campus because of online classes but from pictures, I can definitely say the campus is nothing short of a 5-star hotel. Euphoria is a large cultural festival that takes place every march. Freshmen also participate in a variety of festivals and events. Books were sent by courier and library access is given online. Sports and extracurricular activities are available but I haven't taken any advantage of them. There are many clubs and committees that focus on finance, marketing, operations and placements

Interview Experience :

After shortlisting, there was a written test called WAT. I went for a PI too. The PI questions were about my behaviour and hygiene. The only way to prepare for these rounds is to be confident, truthful and aware of what's going on around you, as I was also asked about three farm laws.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So according to me MBA is something which teaches us about business like how to do, why to do it, how can we make it, how to get it succeded but i feel the books which is being use in RTMNU it doesnt come with proper examples or case studies which sometime helpful, so more of a practical knowledge is required.

Placement Experience:

The placements at SIBM Pune have plenty of opportunities for students across specializations. The companies that come on campus are from multiple various domains and sectors, so the students have the pick of the best. There are two cycles: 1. SIRP - Summer Internship Recruitment Process, which is conducted in the first year of college, &, 2. CRP - Campus Recruitment Process, which is conducted in the second year of college.
