NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School Of Commerce, Mumbai

Remarks :

This college is strict which can be positive as well as negative so, positive because it focuses on academics more and give a corporate feeling but, negative because attendance is compulsory and it is not like Jai hind, HR

Entrance Preview :

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is really fantastic as the whole CFA is distributed in 24 subjects. The exam structure is also good internals as well as externals for every semester. We are given to write research papers, presentations, valuation, etc.

Internships Opportunities :

Placements are really good because the college network is very wide and top companies come here to get the cream as compared to other colleges. With strict rules and course curriculum, companies know the student to study here. College provides an internship after the end of the second year which is a compulsory 2 months internship

College Events :

We have various clubs that organize various events like VAAYU which very famous following on with the other clubs events, fests and social events also like blood donation, marathon, ted x, debate, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure would be called expensive being a private university and under the name of SVKM, the university fees structure is expensive like the course I’m pursuing is 3L p.a. following with BBA and BCom honors.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a scholorship as well as a loan facility available with various banks as an education loan. I didn’t avail of any and only know some details only. There is a page for scholarships or loans on the admission letter only.

Campus Life :

The Mumbai lacks the open area so is the NMIMS, Mumbai campus. We got labs, various activities, halls, canteen and all but lacks in the sports area. So the campus doesn’t have any ground but, for competition, they take turfs and all.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network and senior students are great. They help in various things and the network growth is tremendous. Students start various startups after graduation being in their network we get to know various things competition and all

Admission :

After giving the entrance test results came up and in the ranking, if you qualify for the course you have chosen you then get the admission letter then you have to go to the NMIMS, Mumbai main building and deposit the fees and your admission is done

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is amazing with huge qualifications and experience we get course knowledge as well as corporate knowledge also. There are different subjects which describe the personality, communication besides the academics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is very highly relevant to the field of finance in fact it is one of the most preferred fields, the curriculum is highly specialized in a way to make it accessible in the real world, maybe digging a bit more deeper into quantitative finance would be helpful, the timings of exams are feasible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It department is different in college and as this i love the management of it department. Not only this but there is much scope in it industry ahead. That's the reason to take this course. And as college there is lab for it section and every day there is practice in it lab of various programs and lectures. Teach gives there 100% to teach therw subject effectively. And also there is no chance of getting fail. But if students gets fail then they need to give kT papers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bsc cs offers a wide variety in it field. It offers all the required language for a coder such as c programming, python and advance java. Exam timings are ohkk. Teaching should be highly focused on only c aspects or python aspects and most of the teaching should be on computers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive. It balances core subjects like molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics with hands-on lab sessions, which influenced my decision to choose this course..... The curriculum prepares students well for both real world applications and further studies, though I feel it could be enhanced with more industry llinked projects or internships. Exams are well spaced and moderately challenging, helping reinforce the material without being overly difficult. However, adding advanced electives and more industry focused workshops could make the program even stronger and more aligned with current biotech trends.
