Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum and syllabus are extremely thorough and include the latest information about the field of specialization. The pedagogy involves a variety of teaching methods that are incorporated for every subject by the professors. From case discussions to Harvard Business Reviews, the classes are a wholesome experience.

Internships Opportunities :

As mentioned earlier, various different organizations come for campus recruitment both for summers and finals. Having said that, being from the Marketing specialization and having a keen interest in the FMCG sector, I had the privilege of spending my two months of summers in Mumbai, working for Colagte-Palmolive.

Placement Experience :

The placements at SIBM Pune have plenty of opportunities for students across specializations. The companies that come on campus are from multiple various domains and sectors, so the students have the pick of the best. There are two cycles: 1. SIRP - Summer Internship Recruitment Process, which is conducted in the first year of college, &, 2. CRP - Campus Recruitment Process, which is conducted in the second year of college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are numerous scholarships available for students of the current batches, ranging from exceptional performance in academics to foreign students, etc. The information about the same is relayed by the college authorities from time to time.

Campus Life :

First things first, the look, feel, and vibe of the campus are surreal. In a single day itself, you can witness the different seasons, from bright warm sunny mornings to heavy downpours during the evenings, to chilly winters, the hilltop has a myriad of colors waiting for you to discover. SIBM Pune offers a variety of clubs and special interest groups that one can be a part of. I myself am a current member of the Alumni Team, and words are not enough to express my happiness and gratitude for being so. The entire student council, their day-to-day activities, and even the events are completely student-led, with minimum or no interference from the administration. The library is huge and is at the heart of the academic block and the ground floor of the library is accessible 24*7.

Hostel Facilities :

All the students at SIBM Pune stay in a hostel, and the room allocation changes from year 1 to year 2. The students have the choice of taking either a 2-sharing or a 3-sharing hostel room. The rooms are spacious and the hostels have all the basic facilities including refrigerators, cooktops, etc. accessible 24*7.

Admission :

The admission process for SIBM Pune is completely student-led, the GD/PI panels have both faculty members and some illustrious Alumni. From form filling to the final feedback process, including the GE-PI-WAT process was extremely seamless and all the information regarding the same was communicated via mail well in advance, the schedule for the slot booking was easily accessible on the official website itself.

Interview Experience :

Yes, the admissions process at SIBM Pune has three sections to it. 1. GE, the group exercise, includes a group of 5-7 people which usually has two sub-activities. For me, the first one was to have a discussion around a couple of photographs (cartoons) that were showcased to us. For the second one, we were given a couple of headlines, the group had to discuss and pick the most relevant ones and carry a discussion regarding the same 2. PI, the personal interview, usually lasts for around 20-25 minutes. The first and most important question is - 'Tell me something about yourself'. The answer for the same determines the direction of the interview moving forward.

Companies like Deloitte, PWC are there any also companies by Tata, Birla, Ambani are also there. But we careful of companies which promises salary but are fake.
