All about Pharmaceutical Management

Remarks :

The eligibility was more than 50% marks scored in 10th and 12th and in Undergraduate. The application form will be available on the website of GMAC which is the association that conducts NMAT. The Cutoff for the Pharmaceutical management course was 170 and the process was very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course for a head start in my career and specifically NMIMS as it is among the leading colleges offer this course and also the LTC course is the flagship course of NMIMS which helps in the overall learning during the course right from academic to on field knowledge. The faculty-student ratio is good and there is a class of not more than 50 students which helps in better focus of the faculty. Some really great teaching methods are used and all possible attempts are made to explain the concepts. There are 3 semesters throughout the year and you need have good and basic knowledge of the course to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

The name of the company and stipend cannot be disclosed due to college policies and the roles offered are marketing intern and sales executive. The projects are sometimes already decided and many times there are live projects given and a good experience is provided.

Placement Experience :

the companies for summer intersnhip start coming from the 2nd trimester and final placements start from the 5th trimester. The name of the company and offers given cannot be disclosed due to college policies and same is for the packages. There is a record of 100% placements every year. The avaerage package ranges from 8 to 10 lacs approx. My plans after the degree is to join the marketing department and grow in the sector.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My fees for the course is 1300000 for the total 2 years but the placements are also great which gives a good ROI. There are various scholarships offered by various companies to toppers of specific subjects or branches.

Campus Life :

Paristuti is the event conducted by the pharma department in January month and also there are freshers events and sports activities in the month of October. apart from these, there are events conducted throughout the year by the core committees. there are various books and almost all required books either in hardcopy or softcopy format in the library and in the book bank provided. The college has all the necessary amenities required by a student for his/her overall growth. There are 12 different cells related to various streams of the industry like marketing, operations, finance, etc and also 5 clubs for extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, drama, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So according to me MBA is something which teaches us about business like how to do, why to do it, how can we make it, how to get it succeded but i feel the books which is being use in RTMNU it doesnt come with proper examples or case studies which sometime helpful, so more of a practical knowledge is required.

Placement Experience:

The placements at SIBM Pune have plenty of opportunities for students across specializations. The companies that come on campus are from multiple various domains and sectors, so the students have the pick of the best. There are two cycles: 1. SIRP - Summer Internship Recruitment Process, which is conducted in the first year of college, &, 2. CRP - Campus Recruitment Process, which is conducted in the second year of college.
