Remarks :

The college management of nit trichy is remarkable, they get the system running without any lags, whenever there is an issue pertaining to anything, you can see that the students has all right and is given proper consideration if they approach the concerned bodies regarding it. So there is nothing negative to be said about it. Even it is flexible to some exrent,if lot of students want a particular thing to happen which is of great use to everybody, you can see that it's implement such direct effect from the directed itself.

Entrance Preview :

CAT, 78 percentile. I opted this college because it provided the best roi possible for me with the score.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum consists of mandatory subjects in the first year and in the second year we are given the flexibility to select electives along with some mandatory subjects. The main specializations offered here are finance, marketing and minor specializations business analytics and business analysis and it consultancy.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, internships are mostly provided from the college. The average stipend would be around 5000 plus. So many got mainly in startups. Were the overall experience was average as some of these startups have no clear projects and they hire interns for aiding themselves with day to day operations.

Placement Experience :

Placements are average. Last year almost more than 95% of the batch got placed. But this year the placements are lagging due to the trump effect and demonetization. Companies are freezing their recruitments and they are restructuring.so that did affected our placements. Yet still companies are coming. Right now about 50 % of the batch is placed. Good companies come for placements here like Caterpillar, Affine, Bluestar, Capegemini, Mafoi, etc.

College Events :

The college Nit has a lot of celebrations. Starting with festember in the month of September which is a cultural festival, followed by pragyan during the time of February and followed by nittfest which is an intra nitt cultural fest. The events festember and pragyan are really bug events. Pragyan has got a budget of 1-1.5crores and which is a ISO certified fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure of the college is the best thing here. They actually provide you with more facilities than you pay for, being a central government institution. The full fees for doing mba here is 3.5 lak including all expenses. Four installments of tuitions fees and mess fees amounting to ?80000 each time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a branch of sbi within our college and we can avail loans for our studies from it. And also we can avail scholarships through national scholarship portal which are reserved to categories. There is even a Christian scholarship that I heard of,which does refund all the tuition fees paid back to the student.which is kinda wow!!

Campus Life :

Campus life is very enjoyable and speaking about diversity in my department of management studies I have for friends from literally all corners of the country. Which helps us understand the rich cultural heritage and diversity India has. The gender ratio is kind male dominated one, don't know about the actual figures so I gues u would rather not comment about it. Campus polities is banned here.so any kind of strikes or fights are not heard in this campus as far as I know. Sexual orientation, even though the college is situated in trichy. The girls over here are having much freedom, but they have got a curfew at hostels, which curtails the former. Tha campus has two temples, one Christian praying centre and one Muslim praying centre all the major religions are supported here with no bias.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are really good. The rooms are kinda spacious and it was double sharing during my first year and now it is single man room. They provide daily cleaning facilities for bathrooms. With good electricity supply and unlimited wifi. So I would like to rate the hostel experience a 4/5. And about the mess, there are so many messes out there that cater all kinds of food, be in North Indian.south indian everything is here. In South Indian you have got separate messes for andra, tamil and kerala foods. So there is literally no problems with the mess. Except during the vacation times when only one or two messes will functioning for all.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors from my department were very friendly starting front he beginning. They guide us to what exactly to do out here in the department and they always did encourage us to pursue things at a much higher standard than what they did. Even now for our placements we are in touch and they are also helping us out. Talking about the alumni, they come here to our department for our major conclaves and all and we conduct alumni meeting in their locations Hyderabad,Chennai,Delhi and Bangalore. Some alumni are very helpful but others are kind of promising with their words but not with their actions. Overall the response from alumni are mixed.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is like we have six trimesters and in each trimester we have one series test followrd by university exam. So in total we have six series exams and six university exams. Exam schedules are designed by the student representative and is then submitted to approval from the faculties. On their approval it gets signed by the Dean. Exam schedules were initially hectic, but as time passed we were getting a bit relaxed exam schedule.

Faculty :

They are qualified faculties. But only half of them are keen to update themselves. They have a lot of politics in between themselves and no proper new recruitments are happening so far. We also have good faculties who are temporary ones who are not getting a permanent job here even after reaching for like 6 + years.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good on this campus. We have had so many big companies to recruit from our college. average salary package to our seniors was around 7-8 LPA. The highest was 16LPA if I remember. Our batch had so many zero selects after the company attended because the election time was nearing and the market was dull. But they will try their maximum to get everyone placed.

Placement Experience:

We are spending so much money to get placed right? so yeah placements are good with 90% of students getting placed. Many companies come and hire students with an average salary of 4.5 lacs. The lowest can go till 2 lacs but unless you are in the college for fun you will not get a such a low salary.

Admission:

No, my admission was based on my entrance exam scores, and they also asked if I had any previous work experience. The entrance exam was difficult to pass; I passed on my second attempt after studying online.

Remarks:

The reason for pursuing MBA program from this college is its tuition fee which is too low. Inspite of low fee, the facilities provided here and the on campus placement record. Post checking the official website I registered myself and filled the application form and paid the application fee firstly. Further, my score in undergraduate and TANCET exam was considered for enrolling me at this college.

Placement Experience:

Around 90% placement is recorded every year in our college. The top recruiters who have tie-up with our college and make a visit for offering job are Zoho, Amazon, HCL, Deloitte,IBM, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance and others as well. Also, they offer handsome packages to the deserving ones. Though I have not been a part of placement drive. I had asked the details from my seniors and they said that the whole placement process is easy to clear. Most importantly, the highest package offered to our seniors was 6 LPA and the average package reached till 3 LPA.

Remarks:

I am very satisfied with the kind of teaching we received, thanks to our esteemed faculty. Course fee is very much budget-friendly and the infrastructure provided is exceptionally good. Library is humongous if not gigantic.

Admission:

The admission process is pretty straight forward. The MBA program offered by the college is a self-financed course and caters to the need of students who fail to appear for any entrance level management test. You have to just fill out the application form, with relevant details and present all the relevant documents.
