Remarks :

The college infratructure is very good the faculty is also excellent placement is fine though some more improvement is required in this field at last i would say that Management takes good step for the upliftmewnt of the college but still some steps/goals

Entrance Preview :

GATE, I got 99 percentile in the GATE exam, I was having 02 option at that time either go for MBA or M.Tech, but i preferred M.Tech as i was inetersted in technical line, moreover i got scholarship 8000 P.M i choose NIT, Kkr for the reason that it was a Govt college (An Institute of National Importance & also among top 20 engineering colleges in India) and also a good placement record there is no interview for admission, the basis is GATE score only.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are 04 Semester, in the first 03 semester there is academic/ exams, the last semester is for doing thesis work all the research work is done in 4th semester the course work is highly focussed on research and improves your technical knowledge to a greatrer extent.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship is not a part of course curriculum of M.Tech however if it is required to visit any company for reserarch work then all the necessary help is made by college.

Placement Experience :

The placement record is superb more than 90% gets placement the top companies visited the campus are, TCS, TCIL, ISGEC, Jindal steel, Flour Daniel, Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Escorts etc the package ranged from 05 to 20 lacs P.A.

College Events :

Confluence is the annual cultural fest (4days event) of college drawing more than 15,000 students from more than 60 colleges from across the country, Literati is the annual Techno Managerial festival of College, in which student of many college comes for participation in 09 events, Altius is an Intra College Fest of NIT kurukshetra with 60+ events divided into 9 categories, Also there are number of Technical socities and cultural clubs of the college, Technical conferences / workshops (National Level) are also organised on regular basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There are 12 hostels in the campus (9 boys, 3girls), The hostel rooms are well maintained, the fees too is nominal around 20,000 per semester the rooms are alloted on single basis and gets easily alloted the mess is cooperative type and costs around 1200 to 1500 p.m the Hostel capacity is adequate and each and every student can avail hostel facility.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The PG students admitted on the basis of GATE score gets Scholarships 8000 P.M.

Faculty :

The faculty is highly experienced, most of member IITins, The faculty member always motivate student for research work and the level of research work in college is of high level.

The Masters course with Dcrust

Placement Experience:

Placements service is not good at all . From my M.tech batch no student was hired because very less placements are coming in the college for hiring freshers. It is happening because a reason also there that market down of IT sector from last 2 years as of this reason, recruitments is very less.

Admission:

Anybody can get admission in it as the seats are vacant. I took the admission after a month the classes start. They accept admission even after a semester is over. Student transfer is going on until the second year. No entrance test is required to get the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no fixed course curriculum and structure. Each can get it modified according to their own terms. Exams mostly organize on time but the result may get delayed. And no proper keeping of records there occurs lots of mistakes that sometimes difficult to recheck.
