Remarks :

The factors that drove me to choosing this college its placement record. Moreover, this was the best college I was getting ECE in. I like the campus, CCN, sports complex, swimming pool etc of the NIT very much.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is divided into eight semesters. The curriculum is updated and very informative. Apart from academics there is emphasis on extracurricular activities as well. The faculty members are expert and highly trained. They teach efficiently. My favourite professor was Dr JK Kapoor sir.

Course Fees : INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience :

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Hero, Swiggy, Flipkart, Samsung, Airtel, Jio etc visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package offered last year was as high as 40 lakh per annum and the placement of CSE/IT department was around 100%. The alumni are famous and provide their valuable refrence for freshers.

College Events :

The campus life is enjoyable. The NIT engages us in extracurricular activities via various clubs and societies. We gain industrial exposure and experience through this and by internships. Among many fests celebrated here, Techspardha and Confluence are the biggest fest. These attract participants from all over India in huge numbers.

Review on Learning experience at Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamuna Nagar.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is overall relevant. If we talk about building confidence in students, there are presentations conducted and also Extra curriculum activities activities are conducted regularly. Also, the teaching staff provides real-life examples to us which helps us to connect to the real world and understand very quickly. Students are made to work in the lab under good observance so that they can learn something on their own. The exams are not conducted timely which is due to the carelessness of the university, because of which the students have to suffer. The students who are in the last semester fail to get admission to the master's degree because of the late conduction of the semester exams by the university, which is according to me a big loss for the students trying to apply for higher education after B.pharmacy.

My honest review of my college after 1 year of experience.

Placement Experience:

After the complete of the 5th semester the students are eligible for placements. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Microsoft, etc visited but there are very few offers provided. Highest package is around 35 lakhs per annum after I applied for this college and the average is around 3 lakhs per annum. Around 40% students gets placements. I might do my masters if I don't have my desired package

Student are eligible for campus placements as soon as they enter 6th sem.There are around 20 to 25 companies that visit for IT placements .The highest package that Offered was from Service now 42 LPA ,Commvault also offered 34 LPA,and Ecolobs offers around 10 LPA ,Zscaler offers 21 LPA last year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choose this course to become a Data Scientist and have lots of interest in computers. Faculty members are good but not more than because they are not doctorate. The way teaching of faculties is good. Faculties qualifications are only postgraduate only some of the teachers are doctorate. The way of teaching faculties is good. It is normal to pass the exams if you prepared well.

Placement Experience:

I am a BDS student so for us right after finishing our BDS we are eligible to practice ourselves. Now it is on you whether to go for MDS or not, or whether to move abroad for your practice, we have our internships in the 5th year where we are taught how to deal with patients in real life so our journey starts right from our internships, a lot of fresh Doctors who have passed out from this college are doing great in life. I have a clear set of thoughts in chronological sequence as to this would be my way forward which includes doing MDS and going for opening my own clinic after which I shall move abroad for my practice.
