Remarks :

Among all NITs offering MCA MNNIT Allahabad is in the top 3. Being an engineering college it offers a lot in terms of placements, skill development and extra curricular. You gonna experience the real competition here which will surely push you to do better each day. Placement statistics here are great. Even if you are an average student I would say 7-10 lakhs is an easy grab. A lot of clubs and societies focusing on your overall growth. Clubs specially meant for honing your coding skills. Multiple Hackathons to make you a better developer. Junior senior networking is great here, super supportive and are always ready to help you out.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Major inclination for pursuing MCA was to get good opportunities. Faculty here at MNNIT is highly qualified. People who have ahd their PHDs from top IITs and NITs but you you will mostly learn from seniors and self study. In total there will be 6 semesters and in each semester you will have 1 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exams, difficulty level is mostly average.

Placement Experience :

Great campus placement, lot of opportunities including top tech giants.Students in their pre final year can sit for 2 months summer internships with a good PPO conversion rate. Final year students get to sit for placements right from the starting of the year. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Udaan, Goldman Sachs, De- Shaw, Arcesium and many others visit every year.

Campus Life :

Annual fest Culrav is generally organised in April, 3-4 days of celebration from DJ nights to Celebrity talks and a lot more. Tech fest Avishkar is organised around December, a great learning opportunity for newly admitted students.

Admission :

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

From seven-semester, the student is eligible for placement. Cognizant, Accenture, tcs, etc. The average package is 3 lakhs and 3.5 lakhs and the highest package will be 42 lakhs. 89% of students get placement. After getting the degree I will apply for CDS and other government jobs.
