Firstly it is near to my home. Secondly course in this University is affordable. Good and Highly qualified professors as it is one of the Central Universities in India. Admission is given to a candidate according to the merit list that is prepared after entrance exam

Course Curriculum Overview :

Food Technology is a vast growing stream in India as well as in all over the world with good job opportunities and decent salaries that is the reason I chose the course. Quality professional are there to teach. Exams are conducted semester wise.

Internships Opportunities :

I have done internship in Moon Beverages( Coca-Cola). Internships are easily available for students.

Placement Experience :

Placement and Job opportunities depends upon the placement cell of your department. Placement is good here. The main recruiting companies in the FT department are Parle, Amuk etc. Other department has good placement also Highest package is 6 Lpa and average package is 3 Lpa

Campus Life :

You can easily spend a lot of time on campus. Campus life is good and you can feel at home here. Seniors are also very helpful.Many hostels fests are also organised. Books are available in the library. Wi-Fi is in the campus as well as in Hostel.

Admission :

You have to just give the Entrance exam and no GD or Interview is there. After Entrance merit list of students is prepared and according to that list students are called

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.
