Remarks :

It was definitely under the IIT brand which made me feel inclined towards it. I went through all the faculty list and everybody seem to be doing interesting research. All faculties are young, smart, enthusiastic, considerate and very approachable. The curriculum design is superb as it does not put a lot of pressure on the student. I answered GATE exam in February 2019, got my results in around April and applied to the college around the same time. The application process at the time did not require an interview although it is required right now for non GATE intake.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty to student ratio is simply amazing. It was 9 of us in the class so the faculty could pay attention and teach personally to each and every one of us. There is no standard exam pattern. Every faculty evaluates as per their wish. Some faculties evaluate in terms of written papers while some others based on quizzes or presentations.

Class Size : 9Course Fees : INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Since I was a part of Mtech course, I spent my second your doing my project in the lab under one of the faculties within the campus. Mtech students have an option of conducting the project from any place apart from IIT Hyderabad.

Placement Experience :

As an Mtech student of biotechnology, I did not opt for placements since I am interested in continuing in academic research field. But from what I saw multiple reputed companies visiting the campus and recruit a lot of BTech as well as Mtech students. The institute has a very active placement cell.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I was under the MHRD funding through GATE qualifications. I recieved stipend of Rs. 12400/- PM as a TA which pretty much covered the fees which was slightly lesser than 2lakhs overall. Fee also covers hostel accommodation and mess charges

Campus Life :

As an Mtech student I did not really interact much with the clubs but the institute has multiple clubs including drama, dance, arts, public speaking,poetry etc. Campus is very lively and before the pandemic there used to be DJ nights at least twice in a month. The campus is new and developing and easily connected with the help of local buses and cycleswithin the campus. All the necessary facilities are available within the campus.

Admission :

I did not face any interview for the admission I entered the course through GATE 2019 qualification. I just had to send in my application through the common portal and the seat was offered on merit basis.

My BBA journey

Remarks:

The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The placement here is really good. The non-teaching staff is really cooperative. We all are live like a family here. The hostel here is well maintained and have everything under one roof. If you want a good college to study tourism this is the place to be.

Admission:

i got admission here on the basis of UGAT national level admission test conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). I was Shortlisted on the basis of performance in UGAT and then called for Interview at NITHM campus. minimum eligibility criteria are Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC ) examination,(10+2) or any other equivalent examination with minimum 50% of Marks.

Remarks:

The college has several optimistic points this is the best tourism college in Hyderabad. Everything is satisfactory here from teachers to infrastructure. Alumni network is strong. My entire experience till now is full of warmth and I have discovered a lot in this college. You should get admission here.

Admission:

you will apply on the basis of your undergraduate degree. If you have a bachelor's in tourism and hospitality with minimum 50% marks you are eligible to apply. You should have appeared in the management aptitude test. The admission is done on the basis of merit followed by group discussion and personal interview.

Hotel Management Course Review at NITHM

Remarks:

There is absolutely nothing bad about NITHM. It is a great college with great standard of education. The only thing that can be improved is the internship opportunities for students. Otherwise, I had a blast and those were the best three years of my life so far.

Admission:

I got selected for the course B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Management at NITHM by appearing for NCHMJEE conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The admissions depend on the All India Rank (AIR) and then the selection is done after counselling sessions with different colleges.
