Remarks :
I did not avail any quota. Admission is based on 12 percentage and about 80 students are taken in per year. The minimum percentage is above 75% for the general category and for ST/SC is around 60 %. (B.S. Agriculture) There is a Scholarship for ST/SC and OBC category in which the course fee reverted to them. After getting listed in the admission list we have to contact the agriculture department for further process and submission of documents.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opted because the agriculture field interests me. Faculty members are knowledgeable and have a good command of their subjects, student ratio is good enough to be studied in a good and peaceful environment. Faculty members are highly qualified and the method of teaching is also particularly good. Term exams are semester based and if you studied properly it's not difficult to pass the exam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Due to this pandemic, fees are not fixed but mainly it costs 30,000/sem and for the 4 year program its costs around 2,40,000. Outsider students mainly from the Northeast gets a stipend and there is no burden for fees.
Campus Life :
The location is pleasing and every year in the month of April to June there is an Annual fest, there are mainly two libraries which is present themselves on the campus. Classroom are well furnished and with good ventilation. Volunteer participation is there in sports tournament which is held every year and the ground is also good, And activities are also held on the campus. There are WhatsApp groups and Facebook pages for students.
