  • Availability of books are very low, students are more engaged in intership than attending the class

Course Curriculum Overview :

As our teachers before themselves have practised in civil and highcourt ,so they teach us by their experience of cases too , and this method of theirs helps me connect to the reality, book knowledge is ok but it's fun to listen about their experience , i choose this course as am into judiciary

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our yearly fees is around 55000 per year and registration fee is 50 rs as I belong to sc category but I didn't got any decrease in fee ,fees is same for everyone ,but the teachers r very friendly in nature and supportive

Campus Life :

As the department of law is slightly new there are many things in progress ,every year the whole kumaun university conduct a fest where students get chance to participate and show their talents whether in sports or arts or dance etc

Admission :

Last year when I applied there was no entrance exam but from this year it's necessary to give entrance. But this college i applied somewhere else but I didn't like it cause of travelling and there was no hostel out there i use to travel for 2 hours to reach there , and when I get to know in nainital there is Hons course so I switched here

Faculty :

The faculty are very supportive and listen to us and solve our doubts there are exams semester wise as my course is Hons in first year there was 5 subjects of mine and in second years it's 6 subjects

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are below average for Law students. Its only 3lakh per annum on an average. The placement opportunities for the other streams are better, taking into consideration the BCA and MBA placements, they are above 10Lakh per annum on an average.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is average considering the market requirements. We do have placement cell which helps students in order get the placement. In the final year the students are eligible to sit for campus placement based on their internship throughout the course. In law program what I witnessed my friend got campus placement of Rs. 10 Lakhs in the Law Program, which is considered to be good package in the field of law. Approximately 60% students are placed directly and indirectly. I want to my own litigation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A.LL.B(Hon's) because I want to make a lawyer and this University helps to make my career in law. The faculty is very excellent and helpful. There are so many professors and Ph.D. professors and the teaching methods are very good and describe the lecture in a very good manner.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I found the law course curriculum to be quite comprehensive and well-structured. It covered a wide range of legal topics, from contract law to criminal law, and provided a good balance of theoretical and practical knowledge. The faculty members were also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they brought a lot of real-world expertise to the classroom. Pros: Comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of legal topics Faculty members who are knowledgeable and experienced Practical focus that emphasizes real-world legal issues Cons: Some of the readings and assignments could be quite dense and time-consuming The workload can be quite heavy at times, which can be challenging for some students I chose this course because I have always been interested in the law and the legal system. I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how the law works, and how it can be used to protect people's rights and interests.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th year every law aspirant should try for the placement and for hood placement there must be a strong cv. With the certificate of internship of various law firms and companies. The average package is 40k per month. My only aim is judiciary so I will look forward to it.
